TOPIC: What we know with a week left to play |

| Well next week will wrap up another stellar season in the USPL and this is what we know with a few games left to play.
1. Travel Lovers is locked in the fourth spot - congrats to them on a great season, they could easily be holding the cup late Sunday.
2. DST won the weak division so they are guaranteed the two spot but still have an outside shot at first overall - congrats on another great regular season, as usual they will be watching the championship game from the beer tent.
3. Grocer and Wing it are guaranteed a top three finish with one of them probably taking first overall - these two teams have consistently been the best teams in the league all year and the smart money says one of them will be crowned champion of 2010.
4. Plumbers will be in the five or six spot depending on the Crupi/Flakeboard game - congrats to them, if it's not Grocer or Wing it then I think Plumbers pulls the minor upset and wins it all.
5. Crupi gets the five spot with a win but drops to at least seven or worse with a loss - they better not lose that last game or let the implosion begin. They'll be spectators Sunday afternoon.
6. Huge game between the Arms and Griffiths Monday night - winner is in and the loser is probably Cony bound - will it be the self proclaimed young studs from the Arms or will the Aussie guy and the best draft pick over the last 20 years lay the beat down?????
7. Impressive late season run by Flakeboard has them in the top 10 and with a win over Crupi they would secure the six spot - congrats to them.
8. Congrats to MAS for making the Championship side.
9. Remax will have to earn their spot on the Championship side as they play the best two teams in the league to finish the season (Wing it and Grocer) - they have the tie breaker with both the Arms and Griffiths so one win should get them in. Good luck boys it just wouldn't be the same without the team of the decade in the Championship bracket.
10. Finally, a moment of silence for a team that has probably never even been on the cony side - if everyone shows up I definitely like the School to get to Sunday and once there they could certainly go deep into the day.

| No benefit for winning division
Why don’t the two division winners get a bye in the playoff round? They are rated 1 or 2……………..so what do they get for being the best team in their pod after 25 games? NOTHING!
I just hate the fact that there is no advantage to finishing in the top of your division...with the teams being so even the 1 to 8 seeds doesn’t matter…..anyone can win………….it will be good times and sweet memories

| There are cash prizes for winning the division and of course, a modicum of bragging rights and momentum going into the playoffs.

btw...there was only one spelling mistake! Are you sure you use the english dictionary? or would you like him to translate it in a language only you can understand?

| We have touched on another good season here in USPL where the battles were waged like men and the competition heated up as surprise seasons from both the Wing It crew and Grocer took center stage. The return of Travel Lovers after a brief time off has rejuvenated the veteran team. The Arms have become the talk of the future, so what is new. Remax remains a dynasty for all teams to remember them by. DST captured the division championship along with Best Offensive and second to Wing It who won Best Defensive honors. Crupilaw and the Complete Plumbing made it tough to play teams like them with such scoring talent.
The fall playoff season is shaping up to be a classic. Anyone can win with all the parity that exists in the league. Good Luck to all and let’s hope the weather stays good.

| Wing It or Grocer will never eclipse the almighty Remax. After their miracle year this year Wing It will go right back to being a non entity. Even with all the superstars that are on the Grocer, Remax is far more superior in experience and talent. When the trophy is raised it will be in the hands of the friendly men of Remax.
