| Wow has league league dragged on and on and on. Lucky we didn't have the al star game that was promised and paid for. Hope they use that money for cold drinks and real food at the so called year end party. Wait is that party also gonna be blown over like the all star game
So the big question is what was actually gained by cutting Ron out? Fields were the same. Same crappy umps. One team playing every game on one field and throwing people off When things don't go their way. Or better yet calling a game sooner when they are ahead and it sprinkles a little.
Can't way to hear what is instore for next season. If you don't want to be a joke of a league don't act like one. Modify times and ties. Move to wood bats and play games at night. This way you can finish the season before Halloween. Move the feilds around to entice more players. Seems no one wants to drive out of the friendly confines of coral springs. Ft lauderdale, boca, delray and deerfield have great fields To to have some parody why not let the 2 worse teams in the league take 1 player from each team. Then draft from there.

| Hey Joeboo Before you can talk about "parity" in the League, you need to know the difference between "parity" and a "parody"! For the most part your complaint is a "parody" of the usual drivel that comes from the "winy" players in this League! THAT, ALSO HAS NOT CHANGED! I suggest that you look up the meaning and spelling of the words that you choose to use, before you use them out of context!
JUST PLAY BALL and QUIT THE BS!

| OK JoeBoo You missed the point, as usual! You must be fairly new to this League! Well, I guess we're all new to the Liberty League, but basically this is the old CSMSBL. The League was originally set up as a Coral Springs, and immediate surrounding area, League! We used local fields, and played ONLY on Sunday! If you wish to play "woodbat" GO PLAY "WOODBAT"! If you want to play a night or two during the week, GO AND DO SO! You're free to do that! This League, for the most part, ran pretty smoothly. You were offered to play at FTL Stadium, early in the year, and that was turned down! When the "powers that be" changed their mind and wanted to play there, the Stadium was no longer available to us. However, through all of this, my major point being, STOP THE WINING, and JUST PLAY BALL!

| Wait a minute. While I don't agree with everything he says, JoeBoo does have some legit points.
The Dodgers got to call thier own shots with only one field. And neither league played at 5pm!!!
The league and the competition did get much better but there are things that need to be addressed.
Wood bats would be welcomed by alot of us, it's been talked about many times. Why not look at it as an option. (I hear the term "Real Baseball" spoken often.) Let's get rid of some of the stupid so-called "speed up" rules that never speed things up. There should be no ties (at least not this many) and the time limit should be at least 3 hrs. And while we're at it, let's get the umpires out of the decision. Take away thier stop watch. No game should be called with a 3-2 count and two outs in the bottom of an inning with the visiting team down by one run for time!!!!
What's wrong with an occasional Saturday night game so that we can enjoy a Sunday morning with the family?
One last question - why don't we play the main season over the winter months? We live in Florida. Play from November to June with a break in December. The weather is perfect (no 95 degree days and almost no rain)and there would be more good fields (Pompano?)available.
You may not agree with everything JoeBoo says but don't just dismiss him. This year was a success and we are better off than the past but there are ways to make this league even better.

| I do Agree And Have Always wondered why we didn't or don't play our season throughout Fall and Winter?? Season could/would be just as long, not as hot, and we can spend our summer Sundays with our Fam?? Since many of us take off in the summer..??
Just always been on my mind and I've been playing with you guys going on my 7th year.

| I disagree with some of the comments made. there are two sides to every story and everyone has different situations and opinions.
I see value playing during the time the MLB is playing . As a sports fan I follow the seasons and come Nov-Feb my frame of mind is football not baseball . I believe that many would agree with me on that and some would not.
Do I want to go play baseball in January at Mullins Park or Cypress... no . I don't join the Blitz League partly to rest and partly to catch up on all the things I did not do over the summer around the house and with the family .
I also have a daughter playing basketball in SC and during basketball season i make trips over the weekend to watch her play as much as i can afford to , therefore I like the summer schedule.
