| First of all get your minds out of the gutter.
Here's the scoop: I've set up a doubleheader for Saturday the 28th of May. We would play in Bangor that afternoon, then take a short trip to Coon-valley for a night game starting at 7pm. I need confirmation by middle of next week or I'm calling the whole thing off. Input greatly appreciated. See ya'll Saturday.

| I do think it sounds very fun, but I worry about the fact that we play Bruce the next day. If it were a wide open weeekend I would be much more in favor of the idea, but driving back from Coon Valley at 10 pm and having to get up and play the next day concerns me.
We're talking about not getting home until 1 or 1:30 in the morning and that's if we leave right after the game.
I'll make it work if the rest of the team wants to do it, but my initial inclination is to try for a different weekend or maybe a friday night, or ask them come up here :)

| What makes you think that we cant just drink beer bongs and shotgun beers and shots all the way home, maybe we camp in Brill and have BP the next morning. Maybe we just dont show up to play against Bruce (since we havent for the past two years). Maybe you are right.

| The reason I picked this day was it wad the only day that both those teams had open. I wanted to make a trip like this worthwhile for you guys. If this idea doesn't work then we're left with either playing one team or the other down here or trying to talk them into coming up, which from my conversations, doesn't sound too appealing to them. I think er could make this work but i'll let you guys decide.

| If I may chime in, Frank's idea might actually work. We've had to play @ Bruce the last two years on the Sunday of Aquafest weekend, you can take a wild guess what our Saturday night preparation was. The result, 2-0 in those games.
Although I can't say we played our best baseball in those games either...
Do what you gotta do, I was just bored...

| I am also a bit concerned about pitching for these games. We need to have the right arms ready for Sunday, are we going to burn up too many arms playing 2 games saturday?
Also as a rule when Hill says something is a good idea I usually do the opposite.

| Ok people, we need decisions and opinions on this one. My vote is no. I like the idea of playing these teams and I appreciate Mike's work on this but i think the timing isn't good because we would get back really late and have to play a big game the next day very tired and very sore.
Lets hear from everyone else though and quickly, Mike needs to get back to these guys. I will obviously go along with whatever the team decides.

| I think that the coaches should make this decision.
If that doesnt happen then I think we should try to either play them earlier, play only the first, or reschedule them (if possible).

| If we have to have this much discussion on playing games, clearly people don't want to do it.
Plus, it's Memorial Day Weekend and I'm sure there will be wives upset if we play baseball all weekend.
My vote is no.

| Frank, I think you're right that ultimately it's the coaches decision, but they should also know what the players think / are able to do. Chris can't make it, I'm saying that I don't know if I would play the best the day after 2 games with no sleep, so they can take that into consideration. If others are super gung-ho and want to do it then they can take that into consideration as well. Anyone gung-ho want to weigh in? Are there more people who don't want to do this?
