I propose we get a little field work done tomorrow at practice. This would require a slightly shorter BP but there's a few things that need to get done.

- Netting back up to protect fans (I'll ask Dad to bring tall ladder)
- Re-edging down base lines & pulling grass clumps behind first & third
- Going around outfield fence and making sure top bar is actually attached to posts

Any other things we need to work on? What equipment will we need? Do we need to schedule a worknight for a later date so we have all provisions?

G is bringing stuff to take weeds out, does anyone have access to a good edger?

Will be there around 8. Too late to work, but maybe I can get some cuts in...

If anyone is interested, I think TJ and I are going to do some tee work at the field around 6 tonight. I will have a tee and the quick swing, join us if you like.

...and back to the topic of the thread.

We will have a mini-tiller with the edger for tomorrow and I believe Dad is going to Round-up today to help get a head-start on the weeds. If that fails we'll pour some gas on them and light them on fire.

Also, if we can we'll get thing set up to do some initial steps in prepping signs, probably cleaning off, possibly base coating.

I will also get the sounds system re-hooked up so Frank doesn't have to park so close to the field and risk the Caddy getting a dent.

The point i was making is that if you want to add a new topic, add a new topic. You do this by clicking "add a new topic". That way if people want to talk about hitting tonight, they click on the "hitting tonight" topic, if they want to talk about working on the field at practice tomorrow, they click on "work @ practice" topic. Using one topic threat to discuss another thing is hijacking the thread, and it confuses people. Considering that you and I are the only ones reading this I realize it's a pointless argument, also I'm hijacking my own thread to talk about thread protocol, so I'll stop typing now.

LOL!!!!

I was confused by the name of the topic. My confusion led to more confusion. Now I feel really bad because I stole somebody's very important thread to discuss something very menial(sp?). So for that, I am sorry. I will soon start a new thread to discuss things that I am more interested in.

Now I'm confused. Are we hitting tonight and working tomorrow while drinking? Or are we drinking while practicing and then working after that all tomorrow night?

Please start a new thread so that I know what I shoes to bring-my baseball cleats, my work boots, or my drinking shoes. Much appreciated!

Bring all 3 types of footwear. Tomorrow night we will have a quick practice, then do work while drinking. I suggest wearing cleats for practice, then one work boot and one drinking shoe while working/drinking, unless you're on the ladder, then just work boots.
