| The selection process of going by neighborhoods is not working. There are always teams that are stacked with good players and very few weaker players and teams with few good player and many weak players. The kids should be put in a pot and selected by the coaches on a rotation bases. The coaches know who the weaker player are and they should be held to the side until all they other players are selected and then split up evenly across the teams so that there is more of a balance between the teams. The way it is done now is unfair and is dicouraging kids from playing.(MAYBE THIS IS WHY REGISTRATION NUMBERS ARE DOWN)I know of kids who's parents are seperated or divorced who have registered useing the address of the parent they don't live with so that they could get on a better team. It's sad that they have to resort to this just to have chance of being on a winning team. My son is a pretty good player and gives a 100% every game, he has played for 6 years and has yet to be on a winning team. how could this be if the selection process is fair? It's very hard seeing him with head down and getting discouraged game in and game out. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS!!!!!!! I thought this was for the kids, not the powers that be maintaining the status quo.
