We were down by two going into the bottom of 3 (4 inning game). We scored one and Oscar got into a full count with 2 down and the bases loaded. He hit a bullet to left center to score the winning runs.

Weather is not looking good for tonight.

I think we'll have to cancel practice tonight and hit before the game on Friday.

Thoughts?

We'll have practice on Wednesday night, starting at 6:00 for those not going to Hayward for the All-Star game.

Can you guys do a little field work to tidy things up for the big day? Couple things I can think of off hand are:

- Re-edging the base lines
- Weed wack the outfield & fence lines
- Redo distance signs in OF so they're accurate (this one isn't important, just thought of it)
- Enjoy beverages out of blue cans

How did practice go last night? Both in terms of hitting and field maintenance?

- Re-edging the base lines = 1st base line, home plate area - Check.

- Weed wack the outfield & fence lines = Check

- Redo distance signs in OF so they're accurate = Negative on this one. No accurate readings.

- Re-attached signs in outfield, put up the 3 that old school re-painted = Check

- Enjoy beverages out of blue cans (while watering the field) = Checkity Check

- Smoked Meats = Check.
