| We are coming up to the end of July. Most years, that would mean that nearly 75% of the games would be complete, and we should have a pretty good idea which teams will be at the top of the standings. However, this year we’ve only played 60% of the games so far, so it’s a little more difficult to establish trends.
With that said, here are my predictions for the 2011 Final Season Standings and Playoffs.
The top 7 spots are pretty well locked. I predict DST will once again win the President’s Trophy for best regular season performance, but TL will be a close second.

2. Travel Lovers
3. Nvision/Ed's
4. The School
5. Stephen Tar
6. Summit 6T6
7. Crupilaw
The next 9 teams will duke it out for the final 3 Championship playoff spots. I have listed them in order of their chances of getting in. Kelseys/DBS/Griffiths have the best shot, but look to be only percentage points ahead of the other 6 teams. An unexpected win or loss by any of these 9 teams will shift things around dramatically, which means it should be a close race down to the final game of the season. And BTW, the 2010 Champs are not out of the mix by any means. If the Arms can go on a run like they did last year, anything can happen.

The last 2 teams should be considering who they will be drafting next year.

Whatever happens, it looks like the Conny side of the playoffs will be strong, with the potential of having the Plumbers, Arms, Grocer, Remax and other tough teams playing each other. Any team who is thinking that they’ll waltz through the Conny Playoffs for a crack at the Championship play-in game should probably re-think their strategy. I can see those teams just pounding each other, to the point that whoever emerges might not have any gas left in their tank come Sunday morning.

| I agree with your opinions above with the exception of the Plumbers and Grocer, they definitely will be fighting it out for the bottom 4 spots.
Crupi will also drop out of the top 7, lack of defense.

KELSEY’S HAS A GREAT TEAM OF GUYS THAT GET ALONG AND DON'T FIGHT WITH EACH OTHER, NOT LIKE SOME TEAMS IN THIS LEAGUE.

| Kelsey's is a solid team with a bunch of Gentlemen on it. Last night's game (like nost in our league) was very good and tied after 5 innings. Good job pulling out the victory. No need to be an ass about things, as far as I know Bigelow is not on TL.... and the last time I checked, we were still in first place in the division.

Wow this should get interesting. I have seen Ricky and the Travel lovers boys in action calling them out is probably not a smart thing to do. They can backup their talk on and off the field.

| I wouldn’t want to play MAS right now, 4-1-1 in their last six. After having a tie with Travel Lovers and killing The School, I don’t think they are coming 17th. It looks like they might make some noise in the championship side.

| Not to take anything away from the DBS, they're playing better ball for sure. But 1 of those wins is a forfeit and one other came against a team that looks like it only had 8 players. I'm much too lazy yo actually try and look if those rankings are legit or not. They have put themselves in position to play out of the 8th seed and avoid the big teams, but I don't see them getting past TL, DST or Summit in the round robin. I'm more concerned about Crupi or Kelsey's.

| I'm seeing ALLOT of new teams (and veterans) on the forums late in the season hyped about how their team is blowing out opponents and not allowing any points.
My question is...
Have you REALLY played a tough team yet? Have you REALLY been challenged?
(No disrespect to certain teams..but some are new and others are rebuilding.)

| With the layoff it's hard to get excited about the playoffs. We have not played since August 17.
Rain sucks!!!! DBS is the most improved team of the year.

| Man what you talk n bout? That is all I have heard for the past 3 years is those stupid rankings! Go ahead and underestimate Remax, if you want to as they almost beat us last year! I guarantee you they would beat DBS by 21 hands down as they are legit man! You will see at some point this month!
