| I would like to thank the ASA of Pa. for the following: Taking my $300.00, overloading a class "C" state tournament with unverifiable teams from across state that clearly belong in Class B or A (and in 1 case Major), for not allowing big scary Herb to play for us (because he's obviously the secong coming of BradRona), for not actually 'DRAWING' for game position, but structuring it by hand so no eastern Pa. team had to play before 11:00 AM, for pulling our team off the field after a 1-1/2 hour wait to let 2 other teams finish their respective games because we played at a facility that had only 1 field with lights (more like 10,000 fireflies rubbing asses 45 feet off the ...ground), for having an umpire blatantly lie to my face about the aforementioned wait (promising our entire team that our spot would not be compromised), for employing umpires that love to be SEEN AND HEARD by showing up our pitcher who's the ultimate sportsman of sportsman (Greg Emke), for allowing your umpire to throw out our 1st baseman (Danny Page) who protected his pitcher, for allowing the same umpire to throw out our catcher (Mark McMahon) for telling the umpire it's not a game to showcase your umpiring authority (consequently causing a forfeit.....we were getting crushed this game anyways), for Guy Demaio screaming at me about how horribly Erie treated him by .....GASP..... making him pay for his own hotel room and that of 'HIS' umpires and therefore FORCING him to move the tournament to a 3rd rate facility, which 'Oh by the way', cost a LOT less money that just happens to go into the ASA coffers, ( AKA G.D.'s wallet).....I could go on but my fingers are cramping.... a few thoughts in closing: 1)We were fortunate to play against some great sportsmanship minded teams, our team had fun playing together, hats off and best of wishes to the true 'C' teams that are still in the hunt for the championship. 2) Thanks to the members of the T.C.I. softball team. You guys are all gamers and it was a great run. Thanks for the memories. 3) Guy, and the ASA, You will never recieve another red cent of my money again. (Especially the year I co-sponsored your damn tournament in Erie that you so easily forgot about). There, now it's out there for everybody to know! Hopefully this will get spread around by enough softball players that will see your organization for what it really is. A MONEY MAKING MACHINE with Zero integrity, Zero sportsmanship, Zero honor for what the game is supposed to be about. You've made it all about the F#$%*CKING MONEY!!! Sir, you should strongly consider retirement and do this sport a favor, because you've lost one of your most faithful 'Customers'...errrrr.....t?eams!!! OUT!
