| I just wanted to congratulate Rivertown for being this year's 2011 Champs.
An interesting fact this year was that 8 different teams out of the 11 in the league won money this year. I don't know if that will ever happen again. That's pretty awesome.
Top 3 finishers were:
1st - Rivertown
2nd - Young Guns
3rd - Hurricane Alley
T-Birds made it through the playoffs the furthest of the bottom 4 seeds to win $50.
Division Winners were:
1st - Hurricane Alley
2nd - Rebels
3rd - Ugly Dog
1st - Pub in the Park
2nd - Mallingers
3rd - Main St. Mob
This was a very well run league from everyone this year. I had some pains in the ass in the beginning trying to find out who all was committing to play this year, but other than that, I can count only a couple minor situations that arose this season that I had to mediate. That's a good thing.
I also want to applaud everyone that was at the playoffs and for helping get the fields ready. I definately want to thank Will and Pat for doing your part early in getting the fields ready. Everyone (especially the 7:30 start) showed up to play on time! I was one of the last ones to leave the field and though it was dark, it looked very clean as far as the garbage being taken care of from every team.
Everyone seemed to conduct themselves well and that only helps lead to a good reputation for the league. Hopefully we can get Dravosburg next year as well.
