Hey Abney I don't mean any disrespect to you at all but it is 11:00pm and we just finished playing. Starting our 8:15pm game at 9:00pm is ridiculous. Your games are always running late. Can you do something to change the rule. Does anyone else feel the same way. Please chime in and tell Abney what you think?

Theres a 1 hour and 10 min time limit on games in Carbondale and it works great! Even with a courtesy foul to give. And yes they are ASA games.

I am not against time limits on games, something to look into for next year, first set of double header games should be over by 8:30 that is in the rules but still late games would start about 845 which would be a late night.

I would like more input from other teams about time limits on games

Time limits are a mistake.

No one is shackled to staying at the games late....

Umps and scorekeepers are paid to be there. Everyone else has a choice...course in that respect...so do the umps/scorekeeps.

Look, No one prefers to be out there that late...but if it happens every once in a while it happens. I would rather stay late than pay full price to play half my games...

I agree with Sammy I also think these time limits are a mistake in league play. I played with a team a few weeks ago and the ump called the game due to the time limit.... we had know idea that this was gonna be a issue So they should at least give both teams a heads up and not blindside the teams that way.

Maybe if the players got on and off the field a little quicker as they do in Carb, they could get a full game in, as they do in Carb.

6pm would be a start, with the league keeping the time limit for the first two games beng over at NOLT 8:10, and NO grace period for the last set of games. Most people for the late games usually are there waiting to get on the field?

6:00 start would be good. Dont like the previous idea of an 8:10 time limit though...I thought that was the point of moving games up...to abolish a time limit....? especially one that early.

Well since right now there is a time limit one the first two @830pm backing the start time to 6 would be the same as it is now? So Y not? You all worried about not geting enough time to play is horse $%^&. Teams loly gag around talk and BS, not to mention show up on time. We just need to start a 6pm, teams show up on time and deal with how late were ther?

i think still start at 6:15 , if you can not field a team at 6:15 then it will be a forfet no gace time second set of can not go past 8:20 maybe that will speed up games, maybe something we will try in spring league this is not set in stone yet
