Ok. I will do it. Fackolanterns dropped both to the Invaders and their imposter fat guy. Despite having an 18-1 lead in the second game and having every opportunity to leave them on the field...we blew the entire cushion and ended up losing by at least 10 I think. It was something to see. Skinny Toth will not catch a ball in right unless it comes to him....Facker got destroyed on the mound...I refused to get in front of anything at short or third and Fat Stallyn forgot everything he knew (which was admittedly very little) about hitting.

You also forgot about Bob playing RC and moving around like he was wearing a cement diaper. You know if we are counting on me to track down every fly ball from LC to RC we are in trouble. Bottom line,it took a team effort to blow that second game in such classic fashion.

One fly ball came in my general direction and would have been caught by most outfielders..probably. I was overconcerned with having to get in position to be Nates relay to the relay. What a wet noodle for an arm. But lets give credit where credit is due,,,the Invaders are a hard hitter group and....wait a minute....they got no hit earlier this year......they stink . And we are nothing without Fat Toth. With him taking the week off we really had no chance.

I would like to say a few things as well, first of all no team ever in any sport should blow an 18-1 lead with that said ... I will certainly take heat for not charging some of the dropping liners in right. After my disgusting swan dive rounding third base I started having pains in my knee. I didn't want to bitch about it when we only had 10 guys playing, but I will admit it was a lot harder to plant and charge (still will take blame.) Now I would like to state as you said anything to you was a hit, most of the fly balls to left dropped, every outfielder got burned at least once, and overall we collapsed just about everywhere in game 2. I love the joking around and ball busting don't get me wrong, but we make outs on the bases so cote doesn't out hit you. We change pitchers when Ian is dominating, and swap a few positions and next thing you know it's 30-20 recipe for disaster.

Guys, let's relax here. I was told the team was organized to have fun. And I think we have succeeded in that department. But two things: First, even with our limited defensive abilities, we aren't exactly throwing our finest defensive unit out there every inning of every game. After Stevens removed himself from SS, Cote took over. I think both will admit that is not a position they would find themselves in had we been playing balls out to win. Secondly, I have pitched for many years in many leagues. It's not like the first time I was out there. We were up 17 runs and I was throwing strikes. What happens after that, I have no control over. You won't hear me throwing anyone under the bus though. Our shirts have a fucking Fack-O-Lantern on them. Shouldn't that tell you we aren't the team to beat this Fall?

I should also point out that the Invaders cheated by having a fake fatty on the field. While we rolled out 8-10 legit fatties...they have the guy dressed entirely in black who appears to weigh 320 lbs but runs like Jacoby Ellsbury. We understandably didn't take him seriously and he ran circles around us. I think he scored 4 times in one inning.***

I dont remmeber Toth missing any fly balls. And he has become a better hitter under my tutelage. Other than him falling down rounding third his play was near spectacular. Not as spectacular as hitting two bombs into the woods mind you..and,Dean has been on the mound for many a championship team..many...and whenever he says that he wants to pitch,,,he pitches. Lastly, Stevens is right about Invaders secret star..was chubby johnny Cash on their summer team..the team that got NO HIT.? I laughed until a cried at one point yesterday. No wonder the Stallions stink all year every year...winning just isnt as much fun

Not even close. Jarod was pumpkin of the week. He made one out all day, had like 18 total bases, and played a decent 2B. You are forgetting Bob missing the easier of the two line drives just minutes after catching the rocket off the bat of the fake fat guy that Stevens spoke of.
