| On 1/7/2012 Varela 2 Gulliver 2, Varela girls were down by 2 and never gave up, Let me say that these girls can win the state all they need to do is play better as a team and and not so much kick ball. They have to trust each other. And let me say one other thing, you can be seen in high school soccer to get a College education. You dont have to play club ball to be seen. This is a message to all the girls that think club soccer is all that. | I agree, high school soccer is about the experience and memories and recognition from your school and the Herald. It is free and you get to play whether you can afford it or not. If you want a college scholarship, work on your academics, believe me it is easier to get it that way than playing soccer. Club/Academy is indeed important in player development, you will become a better soccer player indeed, however it is a business. If you can afford it, great! Do not compare high school to club soccer. They have different objectives and different demands.

| heads up Vipers....you had a good season. Only one team gets to lift the trophy at the end and if you are not it, it does not take away from your experience and accomplishment. GO VIPERS.
