Well The Good Ol' Ramblers were down 19-4 after one quarter and somehow managed to get back into the game in the second to make a game out of it in the end for a 55-46 loss...the thing that dissapoints me is not the fact of losing by 9 but it's the opporutinity to win this game and not take advantage of it The Rams made Orleans' Bryan Moldrem kid like this year's Kentucky's Anthony Davis or a Dikembe Mutombo shot blocker inside I mean you have no offense to get ol' Mt. Mutombo moving around or off the block so they go with what I guess was either plan B. or A Dwyane Wade highlight clip and try to just blow past him and score but in Paoli's case only to get swatted away Paoli's layups against Moldrem kinda reminded my of Chris Paul coming down from the wing and throwing a lob alley-oop pass to Blake Griffin for a thunderous dunk on Paoli's end you have to wonder what offense are you trying to get out of this team recently you have hot potato around the 3-point line with one guy roaming around like he's running around with a chiken with his head cut off if it's s decoy none of the defenders in zone defense buys it then you have The Rams tryin to run a triangle set which is stagnent you get a guy in the triple threat triangle position and instead of using triple threat he automatically goes up for a shot instead of feeling or readign the defense because if high post collapses on you should be able to pass oppsoite side of the court for a mismatch or "overload" on one side but it doesnt help on offense when you on offense running that set overload your self and kill yourself with the triangle being stagenent and not moving...Phil Jackson and Tex Winter would throw up at seeing how The Triangle was being executed...it's simple as coaching i've said this numerous times in the past you can't take an offense that you don't fully know or understand throw it in a playset and expect every one of your players to get it and understand it and know it especially when the offense is a hard offense to understrand in the first place...then ok the triangle doesn't bother me as bad as the non use of the dribble drive or weave in and out motion offense I can get from a coaching perspective why you wouldn't want to run motion it's sacred to Paoli basketball not only that but the girls have been kickin ass for the past 5-7 years running that offense...I think Key gets under utilized he only has that one drive to the basket I refer to it sas the "Dwyane Wade explosion layup to the basket" but a kid like him you could use him and move him around on offense put him in different situations to score but besides doin that they just let him keep hurting himself by missing layups or getting stuffed...Orleans is different than a Brownstown and i'm hoping the game against Brownstown is a less than 50 point win if Brownstown wins one good thing about this loss thogh if the Rams win out they can still share the conference...The Coaching has to get better but from what i've heard the clock's ticking to zero on it...
