There are not too many leagues left that have members that love the game as much as the members of the USPL do. When my dad started this league back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, little did he know that there would be so many teams and so much enthusiasm and anitcipation to come out and play ball (little did he know that Unionville would grow from 500 to 100,00!)
It is with a lump in my thrat that I have to say good bye to the USPL as I have made many new friends as well as continued to keep in touch with old ones on and off the field. You (we) have a fun league with members that have a interest in the leagues operations as well as interest in the game. Look at the forum, who else would tune in to hear the Bowens chirp for 24 hours, they work less than I do! (see you boys at the tent!)
Anyways, keep the spirit alive and we will see you on the diamond at some point. Long live Crosby!

Jeff Gayman

PS If anyone is considering renting that villa in Arizona off Jobber, just a heads up, if you use a blacklight the light show is unbelievable!

Unfortuneately I don't think I qualify seeing I am not in the league anymore. However, if I had the chance I would love to be on the list and help a team out in the summer if I can. Be advised I will be changing the diapers of twins come May but breaking away to meet up with old friends is what my phsychiatrist says is good for me.

Thanks Jeff!
Many great times on the Kelsey's squad and it was a pleasure watching you turn some outstanding plays on a nightly basis!
It was great playing with both you and Neb over the years. Chelsea, Ashton and I will see you over the summer for sure.
All the best.
BJ

Slo pitch was invented so we didn't have to be in shape. So get some wings and cold ones after the game.

Finally got around to see Moneyball, it was sick. Now ready for the slo pitch in the USPL. Jeff, your team was first overall without you, they would have taken the extra step if you played in the playoffs. Miss watching you sparkle on the diamond.

First of all, there may have been one or two gay men at the park on Saturday...not there's anything wrong with that. Secondly, it sounds like Tar22 and Moulton may be in that catergory and soon will be fighting over who gets to hold Jeff's bat for him while he's in the field. "Miss seeing you sparkle on the diamond" Are you kidding me!

I Jeffleive!! Isn't it time to play yet? I'm sooooo excited by what I see our team doing. We may only lose a handful of games this season.

Dude, is this guy is a total one-hit wonder. Actually, that came out wrong, he is a wonder, and has one career base hit. No one was impressive today.

ask Tar22 or Moulton. I think they have him under surveillance so they don't miss his magic on the field EVER.

Today.......I consider myself...the luckiest man on the face of the earth. In my first career at bat in the USPL I managed a BLOOP over short for a hit......  this is the closest I'll ever come to knowing what it's like to be Jeff Gayman my hero.

A dream fuelled by purpose, fired by passion and followed with persistence will definitely change the league as Kelsey's wins the trophy.

If defensive prowess under pressure is the measuring stick for championship potential, Kelsey's has to be feeling awfully confident heading into this season.

In the famous words of someone " you iznt tryin if u iznt cheating" I think they should be thrown out of the league for having the grumpiest player to everr step on the field.

The defending regular season champs (Kelsey’s) for those with memory lapses may not lose a game this year. Only the rain can stop them.

Jeff Gayman has not played in the league for 3 years and he has the audacity to talk about teams playing short. Look in the mirror and you will see the problem. How has Perry effective the draft over the years? How does Kelsey’s have 16 players on the roster?

Only one team has caused trouble at the draft. It happen again this year. Everyone knows that MAS tries to cheat at every draft. Tells players they are in the A draft, then fills out the reg forms with forged signatures.

Ya know I'm not really a controversial person and I get along with 95% of the dudes in this league and I respect those that play the game hard.

With that being said, I'm tired of some people in this league with their Sherlock Holmes methodology.

Some teams or individuals can't take your beating like a man and move on. To think your team is that good that you can't be beat without someone cheating....you jealous €£¥#.

So continue your investigation. Just because we have some decent connections with good players gives you ZERO right to run your mouth about the thought of us cheating.

It's always the same. For most of his 30-plus years playing ball, nothing’s changed for the best hitter in the USPL each time he faces an opposing pitcher.
Before he approaches the on-deck circle, he takes three warm-up swings with different bats. He then walks near the batter’s box with the bat that he’s going to use and swings that three times. He then signals for a time out and takes two more swings inside the batter’s box before he’s ready to go.

The game-day ritual may seem somewhat peculiar. During the course of a game, it might even stir up a few nerves from the opposition.
But when you’ve been around the sport as long as he has and have accomplished all that he has in his career, who’s to stand in his way.
He has built a reputation of legendary status, both locally and nationally. It’s a career that includes lots of chirping. Who is this man?

Who would win in the home run derby, Jeff Gayman or Jeff Gayman?

Is it true that he took one of the coconut on the weekend?
