Umpires: ASA, there is a $2.00 per ump increase for the 2012 season. Balls: Last years ball yellow Demarini .44 core, staying the same. Bats: ASA bat list, staying the same. Playoff format: Last years double elimination format was approved but can’t be finalized until we have a total amount of teams. League teams have access to the fields starting April 1st.
Topics for 2nd meeting: April 7th, 1:00 at Bootleggers
Number of teams: A $200 deposit is due from all participating teams. We currently have 15 teams for 2012. Division: After we have a final count of participating teams we will break them down into North and South divisions. Playoff Eligibility: Will be up for discussion and a vote. We currently need 10 games to be eligible for playoffs and it was suggested that the number of games needed to be eligible be reduced to 1/3 of regular season games (7 games). We are also looking for a way to keep track of games played by each player.
Fields: Once again every team is responsible for picking up their own trash in and around the dugout after the game.
Our second league meeting is April 7th, 1:00 at Bootleggers.
