Entry #: 3886491
With the season now completed, we would like to recognize a few individuals who excelled at their positions throughout the season. We looked at stats, but more importantly how players performed in their teams biggest games. Numbers tell some of the story but watching every snap of every game and seeing who performs when it matters the most weighed heavy on our choices.

Each winner will receive a customized trophy and be added to the AWARD WINNERS section of the website.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER of the YEAR

Brian Gelsomino
QB, 2nd String (6-1)

21 TD's Passing (Led League)
6 TD's Rushing (Led League)

Gelsomino led the leagues most potent offense and did so with his arm and legs, leaving defenses gasping for air. Gelsomino and 2nd String were 3-0 vs the Knights, Chargers and Weapon X averaging 34.5 points per game vs those teams.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER of the YEAR

Bryce Metzger
DB, 2nd String

4 INT's
3 INT's for TD's

Another 2nd Stringer who seemed to always make a huge play in pivotal moments of games, Metzger was a ball hawk on defense. Once the ball was in the air it was as much his as the intended receiver, and when he came down with it it was usually going for a TD the other way!

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER

Jaime "Rocket" Bryant
QB/S, Weapon X

12 TD's Passing
3 TD's Rushing

4 INT's
1 INT for TD

Bryant was the total package or the X factor for Weapon X. Despite playing in only 4 of his teams 7 games, Rocket dominated games on both sides of the ball. He is quickly become a legit passing threat at QB and not just the freakishly talented scrambler we always knew. Add in his instincts for the ball on defense and you see how much of an impact player he is.
