| This new pitcher on the Duchess may just be the sickest pitcher in the USPL with the filthiest, nasty junk in the league. I had the privilege and honor of trying to hit him earlier this year and was able to get a bird’s eye view of the disgusting stuff this man was throwing. Just like the immortal Babe called his infamous home run shot so too did he call a strike out in this game. Just prior to throwing the nastiest pitch I have ever seen and making the batter miss by a mile, he walked over to the shortstop and said prepare to witness my first strikeout today. Sure enough all I saw was the ball seemingly wobble (like a knuckler) as it approached the batter, and it simply smiled and waved as it dropped out of the air while the batter swung viciously at it missing it by a mile. Sick, Filthy Stuff that legends are made of.

| their pitcher's good.. actually the team is pretty good.. they hit well, quick on the bases, and their defence is good.. DST should be ranked higher though

| It's true Empress I did Hav my personal worst performance this season vs the Duchess ...was it the postcard? Was it the alcohol, or lack of? Was it the fact that I was overly anxious to SMASH on our last years rivals? ...giving all benefits of doubt, it WASN'T the pitching!, ...Lmao...it was ME, I was off that day, admittedly, I was staring at the huge handsome "picture" leaning on yur dugout, not the midget trying too hard, sweating bullets 'pitcher' on the mound.

| When you watch the Duchess superstar pitcher pitch. It's way more entertaining to watch his catcher. In slo-mo, he almost has his eyes closed. Amazing!

| Well said. The silent assassin on Kelsey's is a terrific pitcher and still has among the best hands in the league. All that and a class act. His hands seem to be reaching for snack cakes with regularity though.

| If I had to pick a pitcher, even though I have not faced everyone in the league, I would pick the older guy on MAS as the best pitcher. I have played against him for years and loathe facing him every time. He is dirty, and can rack up the K's with ease.

| Dave had to scramble a bit this year because of the change to only just Mondays and Tuesdays, but it’ll be the same umpire crew as last year. Dave, Jim, Dean and Dana. There’s a new guy Tim who will help us by filling in a few Tuesdays. I’m sure it goes without saying, but please make sure you treat him with respect like you do all the other guys.
Hopefully we’ll have a fun season without rain. See you guys in a few weeks.
