| Hi, Im new to Austin, and looking for clinics or 1-on-1 coaching for sand or court. Or maybe there is a group that gets together and practices to improve their game instead of social hour. I'm really looking to learn and improve.
I use to play hs and college intramural (middle hitter), but my skills have deteriorated over the last 5 years.
Im pretty competitive, love the sport, but a knee injury cut things short for me at the collegiate level.
Any thoughts are much appreciated. Thank you!

| I know of a couple of open gyms for volleyball. People just come out, team up and play. It's usually women, but there are a couple of guys that come out regularly. Gus Garcia recreation center @ 1201 E. Runberg Lane - 339-0016, is open Monday nights from 7 - 8:45. Teams are usually chosen around 7:30. Captains are chosen and they pick teams. It's fun. Level of play is about a High B. Also there is open gym at Doris Miller Recreation Center 2300 Rosewood Ave - (512) 476-4118, Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 8:50
