| Class A Rankings (7/9/2012) 1) Minnetonka Millers (26-3-1) (5-1) Moved up to number 1 after ten running both Hopkins and Rochester. Currently on a 30 inning streak of allowing ZERO runs. Uh oh. 2) Stockmen’s Irish (18-4) (10-1) Dropped a league game to Tri City Shark, but still on path to Tonka in state tournament championship. 3) St. Louis Park (23-8) (5-2) Park is on a mini run with 4 wins in a row after a loss to Stockmen’s. 4) FanHQ Fantoms (11-3) (6-1) Still second best team in Riverview, lost to Stockmen’s, Edina and Bloomington. 5) Minneapolis Angels (16-8) (7-3) Dropped a league game to the Lakers, looks to be in a tight race with Lakers and Patriots. Still should be considered top club in Park National. 6) St. Paul Shamrocks (9-6) (7-4) Swept by everyone’s league only competition darlings, Rosetown. 7) St. Paul Capitals (14-9) (7-2) Idle over the past week. 8) Hopkins Berries (9-4) (5-2) Got swept by Minnetonka by a combined score of 18-0. Ouch. 9) Bloomington Bandits (14-8) (5-2) Lost to Patriots, then beat Skyline’s second best, FanHQ. 10) American Pie Patriots (13-10) (7-3) Tied with Angels and Lakers in Park National.
Dropped: No teams dropped from the previous rankings. Only change is top spot, Minnetonka’s dominance is showing through and they are on their game. If they do leave class A for B it will be sad as they are the top dog and continue to show it.
Next In: Still looking like Rosetown. Swept Shamrock’s, but still not sold on a club that is below .500 overall (even if non league doesn’t really count - they still have lost more times than they have won). Lakers - these guys are gutting it out and tied for the league lead in the Park National. They would be in if not for a rough patch a couple weeks ago as they still sit at 9-12 and under .500.
Random Thoughts: Park National is going to be completely up to Lyon’s Pub. They are getting on track, and that could mean an unfortunate break for either the Angels, Lakers or Patriots. Lakers could get into the tournament even being a below .500 team. Scary as they have somehow gotten younger by pillaging Eden Prairie high school players. Look out for the Lakers to be a strong team for years to come if they keep the young guys around. Minnetonka is scorching hot right now which is not a good sign for other teams around A ball. It’s still a month away from tournament time, but Tonka is looking scary good again and they have an intriguing matchup with Bloomington tonight. Bloomington - who are these guys? They are up and down in their non league games, and still tied for 2nd in the Riverview after beating Minnetonka and losing to Hopkins and Park. I don’t know if anybody knows what they are getting from these guys. Hopkins skyrocketed to the top of the Riverview by beating Bloomington and Park … then they get throttled by Minnetonka twice in one week. Riverview suddenly resembles the Park National and St. Paul leagues - nobody knows what is going to happen here. St. Paul league has the Shamrock’s losing twice to Rosetown, and has Rosetown at the top of the standings yet they aren’t .500. Skyline is still Stockmen’s league with FanHQ right behind them.

| Tonka Beat up on Bloomington last night.
Hopkins hosts Park tonight at Big Willow. These next 8 days in the Riverview should be exciting.

| I think Bloomington should be number 1 in state just because they held tonka to 1 run until giving up 5 in the 8th...

| I love Tonka, they do what it takes to win, including paying Brashad Johnson's bill to Edina so they would release him. The only team in the state to have the balls to pull of moves like that. Mad respect.

| They also paid Bormans dues to Air Freight to get him. that worked out well. I wonder if Hoy paid to get rid of borman too

| Knowing Hoy he probably didnt even get Brashad's release from Edina. Wouldn't that make Tonka ineligible?

| I am pretty sure that Hoy only pays his players in wrist bands... Or else they use them in place of putting a star on their helmet for a job well done... The more wrist bands on the player the higher the stature

| Wait, wait wait!! Youre all telling me that Tonka got Brashad from Edina - who plays Short Stop and they still want to add Mack from the Bandits (Short Stop) AND Mann from Victoria (ANOTHER FREAKIN SHORT STOP!!)
Who is next? Jeter's too old ... Furcal is getting up there ...
Flareman-how much flare was Brashad wearing? Does Mack and Mann wear flare? Or do they get some pieces upon completion of a contract? If Brashad, Mack or Mann struggle where do they land? My guess is somewhere in the Park National league.
Regardless, looks like Minnetonka is gearing (literally - with flare) for a big transition into class B. Good times, good times.
Boborr: It's okay that you aren't flare enough for the Millers ...

| Ha Ha. Looks like Skyline is turning itself upside down. Fan HQ is showing its true colors (bad) & Stockemns couldn't score with a paid lady of the night.
Objects in the mirror (Tri-City) may be closer than they appear. I watched my step-brother play for them last week and they are for real.

| Metro...you do realize that Stockmen's had already clinched the Skyline before playing the Rooster...didn't you? The lineup they used is not the lineup they will use for the State tournament.
However, the pitcher for the Rooster pitched a very nice game last night. (I think he conjured up the spirit of Ryan Naughton.) Congrats to the Rooster on a well played game.
Metro...there's a reason your squad is living in the cellar if you are their representative on this board...

| Yah...I play on the Knights team and there's no Mike even on the team.
But thanks for the comment Tiny Arch, very classy to throw us under the bus for no reason. What team do you play for?
We actually have a team policy to stay off these boards, so if someone posts nonsense like this under a Metro Knights name you can assume it's fake.

| I've mentioned this in other posts, but feel compelled to point it out once again. "MetroKnight Mike" does not play for the Knights. But since he has nothing better to do, he enjoys posting under a fake name so that his ridiculously stupid comments direct fire at someone else.

| Yes, we leave 12 people on a game :) We've lost 6 league games by 1 or 2 runs or in extra innings, plus we lost against the Irish after being ahead 4-0 late in the game. That's what we do! :)
