| Since nobody else will jump out there let me be the first to post my Atlanta Fallen Warriors predictions! Before I begin though let’s first have a round of applause for the Atlanta Sports Connection for hosting what is (out of nowhere) competition wise stacking up to be the 2nd Best Tournament next to Nationals! Not to mention It’s for money! The cut off dead line actually held true… we have an actual bracket damn near a week before the event… AND IT’S IN THE “A”!!! Tournament Directors Please Take Notes! Hell if we could get match ups/game scores at the end of each day I think I might slap my momma!
Now that that’s out of the way let’s get into to the good stuff! The top side of the bracket “in my opinion” is the weaker of the two. For instance if each team plays to the best of their abilities I’d rank the top 4 like this: Yung Crew, Dominion, Gamebreakers and Nu-Nation. With that being said I like Nu-Nation over Wolfpac, Yung Crew over Palmetto Bugs and Dominion over Young Bloods. In the next round I’m going out on a limb and I’m taking Nu Nation over Gamebreakers, that’s right I said it! They are coming off an impressive League Championship in which they got big wins over Kamikaze AND Yung Crew. Now I know what you’re thinking… League play is for practice! And your right! However the Playoffs are a different story and that’s when it counts! Add that with the fact that (with the exception of their “B” Championship) Gamebreakers haven’t fared well on the road anyway, add to the mix a 14 hour drive and that could spell disaster for the #1 seed. I think from top to bottom GB is the better team but the better team doesn’t always win… wouldn’t be surprised if Gamebreakers did get the win, although I don’t think it will matter because neither one of these teams will beat Dominion or Yung Crew in the next round. Speaking of the two… in the rematch of the Beach I’m taking Yung Crew once again over the boys in Blue. It should be a great game but I just can’t see the Crew losing at home at least not this early in the Tournament anyway. I’m taking Yung Crew to win the top Bracket.
Now to the bottom half, Wow! It’s filled with “Can’t Miss” Games! I’m taking Elite over Shockwave and Windy City over Kamikaze. In the next round we’ll have the long awaited rematch from Nationals, Windy City Hammer vs the DC Jets! Now I don’t know about you but following Florida last year I was running to the message board each day to read the new battle post! It was almost more entertaining than Love & Hip Hop! Both teams are good and WCH has something to prove, it’ll be interesting how well both teams travel, unfortunately this may be a factor with all the outta towns teams. If both have majority of their teams I’m gonna have to go with the Jets again in the rematch. It’s just hard to bet against the battle tested National Champs in this one. But to be honest with you I don’t care who wins this game I just hope it lives up to the HYPE! Because no matter who wins this game the NEXT game will be EVEN BETTER! Will it be the always “Must See TV” game, DC Jets vs AMC or the new Midwest Monsters WCH vs AMC??? Man I tell you it doesn’t get any better than this! Oh wait you mean whoever wins that game will possibly play Yung Crew in the winners bracket Championship???? (in my smokey voice) DAAAAAAAAAMN, I haven’t been this excited about Flag Football games since….since….Yeah this is DEFINATLY the best competition next to Nationals!!!! Again if the teams plays to the best of their abilities I’d rank the top 4 like this: AMC (by a slight margin), DC Jets, Windy City Hammer, Kamikaze. Although this division could turn into a complete tossup I’m going to make a bold prediction that no matter who wins the rights to plays AMC in the following round, they will not get past the Core! These dudes are the picture of consistency, they’ve gotten a little bit younger, they know how to win and have been doing it for as Looooong I can remember (no Romo), they just won’t go away! Them, the Jets and Yung Crew all have “it” and THAT is why on Sundays these 3 teams are always in or around the Ship! In fact I’ll even go as far to say that one of these 3 teams will be your 2013 National Champions! Remember you heard it here first people! Anyway back to the predictions… I’m taking All Met Core to win this bracket AND to get a little revenge on the Crew for the loss at the Beach. Of course this is just My Opinion, what’s yours?
