| This league is getting better each year. There are too many guys who can hit fly balls out of Crosby but only a few guys can regularly take it out of Milliken. Also Milliken allows outfielders track down fly balls. I believe we should try to play as many games as possible at Milliken. What do others think?

| That is the thoughtless thing that I have read. Think before you write.

| Actually that just sounds like an opinion Birkey. That's exactly why this forum exists. Instead of pointlessly ripping on someone in broken english, maybe try an opposing argument backed up with some of your own thoughts.
Just an idea.

| I feel it's much more enjoyable to watch and play a game at Milliken. The larger field and diamond allows for a better and more entertaining game. You really get to see which players have the tools there.
Crosby is cozy, but our league has outgrown it.
My 2 cents.

| This is a topic I've been discussing with some others in the league recently, so I figured it's a good place for my first post on the ole forum.
I definitely second the original opinion. The games played at Milliken are light years better.
I think the quality of play in the tournaments we play at Milliken attests to this. Sure, we've got good calibre players out there - but as many have already mentioned, the league games in the USPL are pretty stacked with talented players as well.
Speaking as an outfielder, I can say it's definitely more fun tracking balls all over the field at Milliken than standing there watching them lazily float over your head at Crosby. As a hitter, I can also say it's much more fun looking for spots to drop one in between fielders for extra bases then accidentally hit a solo home run that only goes about 200 feet.
And seriously, is anybody on this forum really proud of hitting a dinger at Crosby? I mean if it helps your team, of course, but I'm pretty sure my twelve year old niece could put one or two out too. Milliken rewards the best teams and provides much more entertaining games for everyone involved.

| agree with all here, except birkey.
the talent in this league has outgrown the confines of Crosby. I love playing at Cros simply because its the diamond this league started with, but it makes bad teams better and better teams worse.
we can have the beer tent at the gazebo and 2 diamonds going like the fun tourney's have shown and aside from the distance to main street, something we certainly should discuss moving forward. The Ball is way better on a field suited for quality ball players, like many in this league clearly are. no knock on the league and those who run it as they all do a great job.
And i dont hit homeruns so it doesn't affect me lol

| Crosby provides a great atmosphere for a game, close to home, local watering holes, nice for the whole family. The extention to the mesh has made it an exciting play when the ball comes off the fence. I personally like the mix of both parks. No change needed.

| I think the majority of good ballplayers in this league know that Milliken is where we should play the majority of our games. Nice to see the logic. Who's not thinking now, Birkey? Very constructive response! Doesn't mean that we can't play some games at Crosby. For sure, playoffs games at Crosby are someting I really don't like. Too many undeserved rewards for fly ball outs.

| We have some nice parks in Stouffville, should we play on them?

| I'm truly rendered speechless by some of the thoughts regarding Miliken. That field sucks. The mix is good.

| This is ridiculous, Crosby is the best park to play in York region.

| If Crosby is the best park, then I love to play on 4000 yard par 72 golf courses.......

| This is the runner up to the dumbest suggestion of the year. The winner is Double Headers, come on down to accept your trophy.

| No one asked me my opinion, but I think the bottom 8 teams should play all their games at Milliken.
