With the summer coming to a close, if you’re interested, the 2012-2013 Markham Mens Basketball League (MMBL) season is ready to start up!
Try out/evaluations for the Master Division of the MMBL will be held at Markham District High School on Wednesday September 19 & September 26 from 7-10 pm
Masters players must be 48 years of age as of October 1, 2012. A driver's license may be requested as proof of age.
Games are played on Wednesday nights, typically at Bill Crothers SS, Bur Oak HS, or Markham District HS. The season starts in October and plays weekly until the championship game in mid-April
All returning players must pay the $200 registration fee and hand in their signed waivers by September 26 in order to guarantee their placement in the league. All new players must pay $245, which includes a reversible league jersey, and hand in a signed waiver form prior to playing in evaluation games.

Fees must be paid in cash or cheque only. Any returned cheque is subject to a $25 fee and potential removal of that player from the draft. Any returning players who need a new jersey should notify their convenor at one of the evaluation nights and pay the $45 jersey fee.
Captains will hold closed door drafts. Teams will be announced at the draft night banquet on Monday October 1 at 7:30 pm. This will be held at "Route 48" which is the former Shoeless Joe's restaurant on Hwy 48 north of 16th Ave and south of Bur Oak.
