| Couldn't agree more.
Congratulations to the Duchess boys! Good bunch of guys on that team and I'm glad they pulled it out this year. Just goes to show you from being one of the worst teams last year to winning it all this league is always unpredictable. Credit that to all the great ball players we have in this league.
Thanks to everyone who made this year yet another successful slow pitch summer.

| Thanks to the guys who did a hell of a job with what they had to work with in organizing the tourney. I personally enjoyed meeting a few new guys in the USPL that I had never met. All the teams we played were good guys. My personal favorite was the pitcher on the green team. I think it speaks volumes with the talent level displayed in the tourney, and how the USPL fun classic has grown. Now if we could only get the city to open the vault and fix these aging parks and quit dumping money into soccer every year. Can't wait till the spring. Go Seattle.

| The only time I ever dread getting old is at the AGM, when I hear people talk crap about rules. The play in game is stupid and the exemption rule is great.Next!

| In a provincial qualifier last year for men's D I witnessed a guy Jack a HR and jog around the plate holding the bat the whole way. After he rounded second with it still in his hand I was thinking to myself WTF? he is actually going all the way with this. Anyways, the ump stood there quietly until the guy crossed the commitment line with the bat and yelled "your out"!!!! I have never seen a guy go as balistic as this on an umpire. It was one of the most entertaining things i have ever seen on a ball field. Seriously though, how stupid/arrogant can one person be.
Just thought i would share.

| Actually, the guy was out as soon as he touched 1B with his bat in his hand (SPN Rule 8, Sec. 4K). But I like the umpire's timing in waiting to call him out when he got around to home plate. lol

| It's gonna suck with no football on Sundays anymore... Can't wait for slo-pitch to start up so I can look forward to something during the week.
