| Due to the Boys Club schedule, the WAFFL Night League will start on Thursday, October 11th.
The following teams are participating:
1. Dolphin's 35 & Older
2. AMC
3. Eastland Evens & Old
4. HUH
5. Hostile Takeover
6. Deep Impact Players
Schedule will be out by Monday, October 8th.

“Night Time Is The Right Time” - Thursday Night League
THE WAFFL has brought back the good ole days of playing flag football under the lights. Remember the fun and excitement of having your peers watching you make the great catches, knee and ankle breaking moves, or the veteran QBs marching their teams to victory with seconds left in the game. Those were the days. In honor of the pioneers of the game, the league is named the "The Hill Gang League”.
Cost: $400 per team (Refs fees separate - No Ref fees for Championship game). The first 6 teams that pay in full will be registered. This is an open league to all. Awards will be first and second place team trophies, USFTL points and, of course, bragging rights.
Start Date: Thursday, October 11, 2012
End Date: November 15th
Awards: Regular season first and second place plaques. End of season 1st place 1/2 bid and plaque, 2nd place plaque.
USFTL Sanctioned/Points
Game Times: 7:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m., and 9:00 p.m. on each night.
Rules:
1. USFTL with KICK-OFFS, if at least one team wants to kick-off. However, both teams can agree on no kickoffs and to start on the 35. Even without kickoffs, the exception rule for the last two minutes will be in affect, requiring a kick-off after the losing team scores and requiring the winning team to return the kick-off to at least the 20 yard line.
2. Extra point rules apply for one or two point conversion.
3. See new USFTL rules for ejects, suspensions and fines.
4. Unsportsmanlike conduct ejections will be four plays or when the calling official decides when the player can return.
5. 10 minute lag time for first game only, with a running clock and play will start on your arrival with the remaining time on clock.
6. Teams can start and play with 6 players. If a team is leading by 17 points or more with 2 minutes remaining, the game will be stopped.
7. You can only play with one team in the league. (participation in one play with a team disqualifies eligibility to play with another team)
8. Play-offs - 1st and 2nd seeds get a first round bye.
9. Final roster is due second game.
10.Only team players and coaches are allowed on sidelines. No team followers or spectators are allowed on the sidelines. (Teams will be penalized)
11. No overtime, until playoffs.
Location: The first 3 games will be at Walker Mill Park, 8840 Walker Mill Road, District Heights, MD 20743, and the remainder at Fletcher's Field, depending on field conditions (absolutely no alcohol or drugs)

| Seems like the 35 and over teams are heating up in the area. Phins seems like ya'll done starting something with that 35 and older team. Wonder if people will try to steal some of those guys????
