Also, are we missing any other groups that Eastern Mass would compete against come Springfield? Just curious...

| Nothing yet on the Hockomock League. EMASS would compete against them in Qualifiers in Springfield on Nov 3rd. Where can you find this Order Of Appearance?

| I don't think Hockomock competes against Emass at Qualifiers. They compete against Northern & Southern CT and RISMA.

| Thanks CheerLuv! I am almost certain (and welcome a correction if I'm wrong) that all New England Region teams compete against each other in Regional Qualifier and Regionals.
Flygirl - I have been looking for Hockomock and Ocean State. Haven't found anything yet.
Good luck to ALL teams - I can't believe we're already in competition season! What an exciting time for our girls!

| Hockomock OOA is out...there's no website though. It was emailed to coaches. Hockomock competes at the Qualifier on November 4th, not the 3rd :)

| Last year Hockomock went against Emass in Qualifiers. It changes every year based on Regionals. It is 1,3,5,7 on Day One and 2,4,6,8 on Day Two. I know that Day Two is Northern CT, Southern CT, RISMA, Hockomock which means Day One is Emass, Central Mass, Ocean State and New Hampshire.

| If above is correct, the Midget Med 3 division is going to be interesting. There are only 3 teams total from Northern CT, Southern CT, RISMA & Hockomock (ALL from RISMA), while Emass, Central Mass, Ocean State and New Hampshire have a total of 8 declared. Looks as though it's an easier path to Regionals with only 3 teams competing on day two from CT, RISMA & Hockomock. Am I correct, since top 2 advance??

| I think this is a great example where the “qualifying” comes in to play. There is a new scoring system this year which is based on the 100 point system. Let’s say that on day 2, the 1st & 2nd place RI teams had scores of 84 and 82. (Average of 83). They advance to regionals. On day 1 you also have your 1st and 2nd place advancing to regionals. But, if any of the other 6 teams had a score above 83, they would also advance to regional because they were above the average of the day one competition. At least that’s how I am lead to understand it.

I know that Day Two is Northern CT, Southern CT, RISMA, Hockomock which means Day One is Emass, Central Mass, Ocean State and New Hampshire. Can you explain the 1,3,5,7 and the 2,4,6,8? I don't understand what this means, hoping you can clarify. .

| I think it has to do with how your league does at Regionals the year before and how many winners you have. I think that is what it is but I am not even sure how they determine the ranking.
