| My concern is there are only 3 Teams from (CT, Ocean State & Hockomock). 2 of these teams will automatically go to NE Regional Finals because they are in the Sunday Nov 4th Day 2 Qualifiers comp. (1st & 2nd Place advance).
There are 11 teams from (EMASS, CMASS,RISMA & NH) just trying to advance TO the Sat Nov 3 1st day Qualifiers comp!
The road for advancing seems to be a harder for EMASS, CMASS, RISMA & NH. There's a possibility that there could be 6 or 7 teams from this bracket that were better than the competition with only 3 teams.
I've only got to see the 4 EMASS teams. They ALL seemed good! Don't know the qualifying protocol, but I hope that the best teams advance to Regional Finals on Nov 10th.

| I agree 100%. I know it is the way it is set up but maybe they should rethink it in this level. Jus my thought.

| I think if there are scores from the teams that compete on Saturday which are higher than the scores from the winners on Sunday then those teams will qualify to move on to Regionals (and vice versa). I could be wrong, but that was my understanding.

| There are so few teams in Midget this year overall. I am sure there will be a lot of teams from Day 1 going to Regionals.

| I know it may seem unfair because in this division MM3 there are more teams competing on Saturday than there are on Sunday but that is just for this division not all. There are other divisions (mine in particular) where only 2 teams are competing on Saturday (so they are guaranteed to move on) and there are 8 teams minimum competing on Sunday. So its just a matter of who declared what level and what region you belong to. Its not a perfect system yet but its the system we use. The best teams will move on. And as much as we debate about the process of invitations to go to Qualifiers or Regionals this is one reason why at least to me it does make sense to give invitations.

| This is an EMASS chat, but it's great that we have soooo much input from the other conferences & leagues. This MM3 division is shaping up to be an incredible competition! From EMASS, Dracut, Waltham & Revere had awsome routines that placed them 1st. Reading looked great also, placing 2nd and advancing to Tsongas next week. I do not have info on: CMASS (Leominster, Winchendon & South County) NH (Youngsville) RISMA (Dighton, Barington & Dartmouth) If they are anything like the EMASS teams, the qualifiers are going to be something to see!! Hope to see em' all!

| I thought all four emass teams were amazing in their own way. It is so hard to predict what is going to happen when you haven't seen the other teams. South County is usually a strong contender. I am not familiar with other towns, any insight?

| MM3 has only 3 Teams competing from CT, Ocean State & Hockomock bracket. 2 of these teams will automatically advance to Qualifiers & NE Regional Finals, as they are in the day 2 bracket. There are 11 teams from EMASS, CMASS,RISMA & NH who will be competing to advance to the Sat Nov 3 1st day Qualifiers comp, never mind NE Finals!!
Advancing IS definitely harder for EMASS, CMASS, RISMA & NH. Simple math, it easier for 3 teams to advance than it is 11.

| Plymouth's Midget is level 3 large. For MM3, North Attleboro placed first, Medway 2nd, King Philip 3rd. North Attleboro and Medway will be moving on. King Philip may or may not depending on if they get an invite.

| Every year, the emass teams are usually extremely competitive. Now, when it comes to advancing from emass to qualifiers, I can only imagine that the majority of these teams will advance. With the other conference only having 3 teams, in which 2 will automatically advance to NE Regional Finals, NE Region wants the very best to represent.

| So we now already know that from Hockomock, by placing 1st & 2nd, N. Attleboro & Medway will be advancing to the day 2 qualifiers on Nov 4th. Since they are the only teams, they should be at NE Regional Finals.
@ CMASS, Winchendon placed 1st. they will be moving on to the day 1 Nov 3rd Qualifiers. Don't know who placed 2nd.(South County or Leominster ?)
NH only had 1 team (Youngsville). They automatically advance to day 1 Qualifiers.
Haven't seen results from RISMA. Anyone know ho placed 1st & 2nd from the 10/20 RISMA comp? Dighton, Barington & Dartmouth?? 2 of them would be advancing to the day 1 qualifiers on Nov 3rd.
EMASS comp is Saturday. We shall see!!!

| No one declares a team based on who is in their category. No one knows when we make these decisions. It is what is. Every year it is different. Last year, Midget Medium Novice was the "Big" category with a lot of really good teams. Just because there is three one day and eight the day before doesn't mean the deserving teams won't go to Regional finals. The teams that do well will be there to compete in the end. All we know now is that Regionals is going to be great to watch in this category! Very excited to see all the teams!!

| On the flip side, in JRM Large Level 2 there are only 2 teams competing the first day and 5 the second day. The ones lucky enough on Day one get an automatic advancement. Like I said, it is what it is...

| JMMP1 has 4 teams competing on Sunday and it looks like 0 on Saturday. I can only assume all will advance to Regionals.
