I drove by the fields earlier and only seen one small puddle on the bottom field. Wouldn't a full day of sun and wind dry it out enough? Every other cancellation has been at like 4 P.M. What's up with calling our games so early tonight?

10-4. I was just wondering. It seeme odd of them to cancel so soon when they usually wait until later in the day.

I can't express this enough guys. If you have an issue with these things, you have to contact the park board. This is similar to what happened in Carbondale. The person who ran the Park District crew wasn't concerned with slow pitch at all. They'd look at it when they went by in the morning and if it was wet then, they didn't come back by and just cancelled games.

When Mark Evans left, this is what started happening here. You HAVE to contact the Park Board and you have to continue to contact them if you want your tax dollars to be heard. You can't call one time it happens and let it be at that. John can only do so much, the players have to get the park board involved and they can make the changes happen.
