| homestead's best player returned to the field today. changed the game for homestead as #9 sat on the benched and watched. Homestead should have been up 3-2 in the first half but bad finishing kept it 1-0.

| Nickson Francois North Miami Goalie for player of the week. As a freshman with no experience, Nickson did not make the team. However, this young payer was so persistent that he insisted to try out for goalkeeping. Although it was his first time in goal, Nickson won the position and has certainly ascend to new heights this year. In fact, North Miami's great start this year can be credited to Nickson impeccable terror in goal for opposing forward.

| I hear that Mater Academy boys team has a great center defender. From what ive seen, they aren't doing so good but I've heard from my sources the number 4 holds up almost anything , it is very difficult to get through him, the only scoring the opposing team gets is when the sides mess up and the center defender is unable to reach and sweep that mistake.

| Doral Academy has a great number of players that can be on this list , but Pedro Sala and Danny Castano are two uprising players with combined goals of 13 and they are both defenders...plus pedro sala made 1st team all Dade last year and Danny Castano is only a junior and his first year playing varsity

| #8 Widlin Alexis was determined and would not be defeated by NMB. Hours before the game, he predicted that the Pioneers would win. Though the team came out a bit flat, Widlin was certainly all over the field covering every position of the field. At the end, he was moved up front and scored a David Beckham free kick goal toward the end of regulation.

| #20 from doral academy danny castaño nicknamed "super casta" by his teamates because of his incredible ability to score in important games. scored against sunset for the win and also had the winning goal against mast. incredible player, coaches should be on the lookout.

| I think the Doral keeper, he stopped an important penalty kick vs sunset. and saved another one from free kick. He is freshman but is doing an excellent job.

| Kevin Haller. He got 2 goals against Varela, 1 goal 1 assist against Sunset, and 1 goal 1 assist against South Dade to finish of the season. That is 4 goals and 2 assists in 3 games.
