| TRYOUTS FOR AGES 6 AND UP
We will be hosting our tryouts for our sluggers team on November 17th. Ages 12 to 15 will be from 8am to 10am. Ages 9, 10 and 11 will be held from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Ages 6, 7 and 8 will be held from 1:00pm to 2:30pm. All tryouts will be held at My Batters Box for our indoor portion, then will move across the street to Main street Park fields for our outdoor portion. Please have your son bring all necessary equipment for both settings.
Our teams are highly competitive select teams that will play in tournaments and/or league. These teams are professionally coached.
Each player will be graded on their tryout performance, and a decision will be made within 1 to 5 days after the tryout is completed. We will send individual emails regarding if your son has made the team or not. Player should arrive 5 minutes prior to the tryout.
The following will be observed during the tryout:
Athletic ability
Concentration and Game Awareness
Player's Coach-ability
Hustle and Effort
Sportsmanship
Practices will be held 2 to 3 times a week depending on what the league/tournament schedule allows or demands. Each player will be expected to be present at all team functions unless notice is given to the coach of your team ahead of time. Our teams plan to play in at least two tournaments a month during during a season that could stretch from January to July.
