| OK, HERE WE GO! PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT ARE THE REFEREES THAT ARE DOING A BAD JOB! THIS IS THE ONLY WAY WE CAN REPORT THE BAD JOB, AND IMPROVE OUR COMPETITION.! PLEASE GET THE NAME BEFORE THE GAMES.

| Its not level its the height school system We need to help the soccer program by give school more $ so they can have Good coaching and Good refs it will help the game at height level and you the player. Need to stop give $ to clubs that do not give good coaching and Bad refs they have 3 refs system and it those not work for then to. remember win you play for club you are paid for all the age group and all the coaches.Win you play for school you have coaches that are teacher and its good thin and trainer to help you win you are hard. Win you play club you do not have that. win you get hard you are on your own but sell need to paid or you do not play.And you have to paid refs be for a game its not included in club fee. Need to change the system look baseball only school no club

| I dont think there is bad referees. In a game what might be a bad referee to one team is a good referee to the other. What we should have is FAIR referees. Plssssss! Dont let girl referees ref the guys games because they can keep up with the speed of the game. Guys also play harder then girls. So girl referees mark ramdom fouls for both sides

| WHO EVER MADE THE COMMENT THAT "THE REFEREES ARE EQUIVALENT TO THE LEVEL OF COACHES AND PLAYERS" YOU MUST BE A REFEREE OR A CLUB PLAYER SO CALLED (HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER QUITTER). SOME OF THESE REFEREES ARE TRYING TO SHOW HOW MUCH POWER THEY CAN HAVE BY MAKING CALL THAT WOULD HURT SOME TEAMS. AND OTHER CALLS ARE MADE O DOUBT DUE TO LACK OF GAME EXPERIENCE. OR GAME KNOWLEDGE. HOW DO WE FIX THAT ?
IS NOT BY GETTING THE BETTER ATHLETES BACK ON THE FIELD OR INCREASING THE BUDGET FOR OUR SPORT. WE NEED THESE REFEREES TO BE RE-CERTIFIED EVERY OTHER YEAR. JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER LICENSING PROGRAMS. REMEMBER THAT GOOD REFEREES MAKE DECISIONS BASED ON WHAT HE SEES IN THE GAME NOT WHAT MAYBE IT SHOULD BE. SO IT NEEDS TO BENEFIT BOTH SIDES AND NOT GOOD FOR SOME AND BAD FOR OTHERS.

| I agree. I would say it is 50/50 when it comes to referees....most of them are average at best...but there there are some....I don't even know how they got the job...you know what I mean.

| You're an naive if you're saying we need to give more money to the school for coaches. Your coach depends on what school you go to, if you're at American lets say, there you have a coach that is a club coach and knows what he is doing. If you are at X school for example the coach has no idea what he is doing, yeah you could say he coaches club but it's for recreational. It's not like in clubs where you pay your old coach for that month and come in with a new coach when you want. It's depending on what school you attend. Now for the reffs. I'm sure everyone has had the bad ref that have NO idea what so ever the first rule of soccer, no they don't know the offsides trap and no they don't know when to give fouls and card players. Like seriously you're going to give a player a yellow for cursing, yeah it's inappropriate but it's not necessary. You can't give a yellow to player that is asking a question or questioning one of your horrible calls.nyeah I agree with the person that is saying to re-certify the reffs. Today at a Belen vs mater game the reff didn't call offsides because the player passed the ball from there side of the field and the other Belen player was 10 yards into mater Side. Please tell me if I'm wrong but I'm sure this guys has no idea what he is saying. There is another reff that called an indirect free kick outside of the box because once a goalie makes contact with the ball on the floor with his foot (dribble) he is considered a field player....... :/ you must be ignorant to think that is a rule. So like I said the reffs just need to be re-certified so they know exactly when to call fouls and give cards

| I WOUNDER IF SOME OF THESE REFEREES THAT ARE TAKING THIS PART TIME JOB, EVEN LIKE THE SPORT? BEFORE THEY GET TO KNOW THE SPORT! SO THEY CAN GET EDUCATED ABOUT THE SPORT. AND THEN MAYBE GET CERTIFIED.

| After reading these posts I am in favor of reallocating the soccer budget to spelling and grammar lessons. The refereeing in High School soccer is as bad as the grammar and spelling in these posts. Soccer is played with 3 referees, not two. It is a fast moving nonstop game. Even a good referee in a two man system will make too many mistakes because there is just too much happening and too much to have to observe to do the job effectively. Weight, age, and a fundamental understanding of the sport are also essential. Poor referees destroy the beautiful game. Players are subject to send offs and suspension for any infraction of the laws of the game. Referees should be held to the same, if not a higher standard since they are doing it for pay, ie as a profession.

| Finally.... the voice of reason. Well said! It has to be extremely difficult to find referees that are available. Think about it, who has time to referee right after 3:30...very few individuals. Believe me, there is no one lining up to serve as a referee!

| i play for doral academy and a offensive foul was given because our player hit the goalie. there were two reffs that game and the one in the half were the foul was called blew the wistle and a little argument happened so the reff of the other side of the field gave a yellow card to one of my players (even though he did not blow the wistle and is in the other half) my team let it slide because if im not mistaken that illegal , but then the reff that blew the wistle gave out more yellows and i made a comment that they dont know how to control the game because he gave a yellow to a kid that was not even involved , point is i got a yellow for that comment and then said "are you kidding me ?" and the reff gave me another yellow.(which takes me out of the game and leaves my team with 10 men) and then he has the audacity to tell me my first comment should of been a red card?! he has to have no notion towards the game of soccer it was unbelivable! there so ignorant is get me mad.

2.IF A FIELD PLAYER INTENTIONALLY DEFENDS THE BALL WITH THEIR HANDS TO STOP A GOAL IN THE "BOX" IT IS A PK AND A RED CARD FOR THE PLAYER
3. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN INTENTONAL HAND BALL, IF IT HITS THE PLAYER ANYWHERE FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE SHOULDER DOWN, A HAND BALL CAN BE CALLED. IT IS UP TO THE DISCRETION OF THE OFFICIAL

I went to the GMAC games and there was 3 refs...
but they were all making different calls or over ruling each others calls.
What happened to the linesman?
WHO DECIDES ON WHAT REFS TO REF A BIG GAME?

I'm heard he is a freshman guy, but is really really good, he is amazing in penalties kicks, DA has been won 2 games because the keeper, sunset and reagan. They beat reagan in PK , the keeper stopped the last one and they won.
