That was a tough one to let get away, especially having to deal with their arrogant fans...but with that being said, we are without a doubt a physical team and other teams will start to hear that.

I was really impressed with our bench play considering many of the starters were in foul trouble most of the game. Garrett Strange had a really good game, and once again Evan Jones played well.

Though we lost a game we should have won, it was quality opponent and will be beneficial down the road.

Agreed! The game was one that the Rams will need down the road. Borden was a very good team, but I felt like the Rams played a very good game also, especially dealing with adversity. If the Rams play the way they played for the majority of this game, then 2013 will be a very good year. Side note: Borden was completely classless, all included!

You know what sucks is that The Rams should've won the game and let it slip away I remeber what Roy Williams said about his team the year before he won his second NCAA Championship in 2009 he said "This team has to learn how to win games before we can win an NCAA Title" well what happend was they went on and won the NCAA title that year you know the Rams were up by 7 in the 4th thanks in part to a Vinnie Johnson like performance from Garrett Strange I remember thinking "paoli has this game won if they don't come down and shoot 3-pointers on the next 2 possesions" well what happens is that's what they did and it lead to fats break layups for Borden but I wanna mention somethin there was a play earlier in the game where Tanner Wroblewski fell down on the other side of the court and he hustled back and blocked away a wide open layup by a Borden player that reminded me of "Paoli Basketball" speaking of the Wroblewski's I will preach this all season I think Lee Wroblewski vcan score 15-18 points a game there were times when he turned the corner against Borden and all they could do is foul him or he would drive look to pasa insetad of going up for the layup it's there for him to score there was one time where they were pressuring him hard at the top of the 3-point line I was waiting for a Magic Johnson no look one arm pass to a player under the basket for an easy layup in the big deal of thing losing 67-66 to Borden isn't a big deal they are 33 in 1A and The Rams took them to the wire and made them "Survive if We Let Them" another thing you can look at and say that makes Paoli a good team is that they had the bench in there playing most of 3 quarters and there was no drop off Strange, Jones, Moore and what little minutes Chastain and Line provided helped keep them in the game down the road that's going to be a good thing I just miss seeing the offense where it's dribble drive motion swing the ball move around type of offense but i'm sure it will come with time I alos want to say somethin there was a time over the past two seasons where The Rams would be down by 12 or 14 like they were against Borden and the Coach would look lost or give up nice to see Dusty keep fighting and never give up until the horn sounds anyway things are looking pretty good around here these days
