| WOW! What a HORRIBLE CALL by the referees tonight! It was a GREAT game between mater & springs...with the 4a district title on the line...there was a free kick from springs that hit the top of the goal post & bounced TWICE in the goal. mater's goalie stepped in & reached to get the ball out & the sideline ref called it a goal...BUT the referee(standing at the 35 yard line in the middle of the field) called it a no goal. The sideline referee was so confused that he SHRUGGED his shoulders & a well deserved goal was not given to springs. It's sad to see a game be decided by a HORRIBLE REFEREE CALL...the referees should have let the players PLAY and decide the game on the FIELD...INSTEAD, THE REFEREES DECIDED THE GAME TONIGHT! It's sad to see that for BOTH teams. Should have been 2-2 score & game continues into overtime...ALLOWING THE PLAYERS TO PLAY FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP...not the referees bad call...

IF WE DONT START TO GET THESE REFS NAMES TO BE REPORTED IT WILL CONTINUE TO GET WORST.. SO PLAYER AND COACHES DONT BE SCARED TO ASK FOR REFS NAMES.
THE GAMES WILL MOVE ON WITH OUT THESE BAD REFS. WITH THAT SAID. THESE BAD REFS WILL LEARN AND GET THERE ACT TOGETHER AND GO GET CERTIFICATIONS TO DO A BETTER JOB OR THEY WILL NOT GET PAID. YOU CAN HAVE A GAME WITH ANOTHER REF. AND THE REF CANT REF, WITH OUT A GAME. NEXT TIME TELL YOUR AD THAT ON THESE BIG GAMES YOU NEED 3 REFS.

| MATER Beats Springs 2-1. The Referee just might of got it right this time. The goal in question hit the bottom of the goal post and bounced out the goalie turns around and and grabs the ball. The only way the ball bounces out if it hits the goal post and comes out. I believe they got it right. Regardless the outcome whats not in question was Maters both goals that HIT THE BACK OF THE NET...

| First of all I will like to congratulate mater for winning the title. The goal in question was tough to call and in the end it's the discretion of the,referee who makes the call. Also, springs shouldn't have gone to that point. They went in to relax and looked disorganized and tired. Not having a goalie killed them. Mater were able to put their shots in. They will have a rematch hopefully and the winner gets the final word. Good luck to both!

If anyone wants to see that play to make their own JUDGEMENT...the game was filmed by springs. Watch it & then tell us what it REALLY was...A GOAL!! Clearly a goal!! Plus, the ballgirls(on the sideline), which is the HOME TEAM RESPONSIBILITY (mater), got lost the last 8 minutes of the game! Everytime the ball went out of bounce, the visiting team (springs) did not have a soccer ball to throw in & continue play! NICE STRATEGY HOME TEAM...ANOTHER MISTAKE MADE BY THE REFEREES...REFEREES SHOULD HAVE PENALIZED THE HOME TEAM FOR THAT BALLGIRL STRATEGY...SHAME ON YOU HOME TEAM!
On another subject...the fhsaa website have it wrong for the 4a regional playoffs...Mater vs Ferguson & Springs vs Lourdes?? FHSAA has to fix that...does anyone know what teams mater & springs play on wednesday?
