As it has been for several years now, this weekend the Rams faced two tough games playing against Orleans and Brownstown. This is a very tough double weekend, but one that helps prepare for tournament play.

On Friday night the Rams traveled the short distance up 37 to play the Bulldogs. After much anticipation for this game, it lived up to the billing. It was nice to see the team play a solid game, in a series that has been handled in recent years by Orleans. Key did a nice job on limiting the drives of Bradley during the game, Lee did a very nice job of shutting Hall down and making it hard for him to get a clean look, Tanner W owned the boards grabbing many of them with two hands well above the rim, our bench did a nice job when they were called upon, and it was nice to see Garrett hit some shots. Overall Friday night was a very good win for the Rams to keep their PLAC title hopes intact.

On Saturday night it was Brownstown making the trip to Paoli. Brownstown is a very well coached, good shooting team and while the Rams battled through much of the game they just couldn't seem to get over the hump. It was a physical game and it was nice to see the Rams go head to head with a 3A power. Once again Tanner W did a nice job of showing that he is starting to turn that corner and played well against a very good team, despite sitting much of the game in foul trouble.

At the end of this very tough 5 game stretch that started at Valley, the Rams come away with a 2-3 record in these games, but really played pretty well, especially in spurts in all 5 of them. There are two very important PLAC games coming up in the next 5 game stretch at Perry Central and home on senior night against the Wolfpack. If the Rams can continue to improve they will be very competitive in all 5 of these games and should be battling for a win each night. Go Rams!

And on a side note the combined record of the teams the Rams have lost to this season is 64-16.
