| This Sunday, 3/10, I'll be plunging into the ocean to raise money for the 6th Annual Special Olympics RI Torch Run.
Two years ago I started coaching Special Olympics volleyball and basketball at Pilgrim HS. There is a program in RI that is now four years old called Unified Sports. Half of the team is Special Olympians and the other half is typical Interscholastic League athletes. In other words, the intellectually disabled students that we all saw in high school are now a part of the athletic community. They have the opportunity to play and not just be water boys or managers. The money raised from this plunge will benefit this program and other Rhode Island Special Olympic programs.
I know this is a difficult time and I expect nothing. However, if you do have the ability to help out our local Special Olympians I would greatly appreciate it.

| Over $1,000 has been donated towards my ocean plunge this Sunday and that is because of our tremendous softball community.
Every dollar stays here in RI and provides opportunity for amazing athletes that don't get the spotlight they deserve.
Thanks for helping me put the spotlight on these athletes.
Donations are still being accepted and I truly appreciate your help.
