| NEFL WEEK 6
Hey, we were just talking about you! Come on in and sit down! Man you missed some serious action this week! There were BLOWOUTS! There were NAIL BITERS! We had some DOWN TO THE WIRES! And we had some early endings! Some of the games seemed to have a playoff atmosphere while others seemed to be glorified scrimmages!!
The Dirty Birds(Falcons) looked like they could’ve stayed home and still won their 2 games! Knocking off the Rams 25-0 and the Eagles 24-7. Any time the Falcons beat you with their running game you know your having a bad day! Next!!!
The Titans came to town prepared to tackle a daunting challenge!! Facing the NEFL Champs(Cowboys) and the always dangerous Steelers in the same day!!! I get a headache just thinking about it!!! But the Titans took that challenge and ran with it!! They won 2 close ones beating The Boys 28-21 and the Steelers 21-14. I don’t know if this is a good or bad thing!!! The Boys haven’t lost in a long time!!! Did this wake the sleeping giant!!! Next!!!
I’m gonna give this game as much time as it took to play: Seattle 23 Cards 7! Nuff said!!! Next!!!
The Lions came to town and literally SLEEP WALKED through their game with the Cards and got spanked 14-0. They did wake up long enough to beat up on the struggling Bengals 14-7! Hey Lions partying the night before a big game is a NO NO!!! Your not 25 anymore!!! Next!!!
In a game that most thought would blow out Creasy’s score board, the 0 for Eagles showed they still have some life left in them!!! The Colts won the game 26-18 but the Eagles hung tough and would not lay down!!! Another Stackism!!! Next!!!
Speaking of Stack and the Vikes he was real quiet during his game against the Pats!!! You can always tell when things aren’t going quite the way Ed expected!!! He is one of the funniest guys we know but when that hole gets tight there’s not many quotes coming from him!!! The old vet bared down and brought it in a 2nd half come back for the ages!!! I can hear it now “Sainara, Hasta la vista, Arrivederci, Bye Bye!!! Next!!!
Now I know the NFL Ravens damn near released all their defense since the Super Bowl but Coach Phoenix just took it to far in his game against the Boy Wonder Lil E!!! All I can say is I’m tired after watching that track meet. The Ravens managed to come back and win 43-42 with the D finally showing up on the last drive causing a fumble with only a few seconds left and the Saints driving AGAIN!!!. So guess with everyone in the room screaming “What happened to the D”, the Jets had no chance!! The Ravens D turned it up a notch beating the Jets 30-0!!! Next!!!
The reeling Broncos offense found the end zone twice Saturday! Only problem it was over 2 games!!! The NY Jets blasted the Broncos 35-7 and then KC had their way with them 26-7!!!
Wow!!! I’m tired!!! All I can say is a great time was had by all!!! This is what EF is all about!!!
