| Were ALL the rain-outs re-scheduled for the long weekend Mondays? We already have 12 of 25 games at 9:30 and now both rain-outs have been re-scheduled for the Monday of July and Aug. long weekends. Can someone confirm if ALL teams will be playing on these dates?

Jamie, what does it matter if you play on holiday Mondays?? For you, with your schedule, every day is a day off during July & August.

| Wow is right? Ya, I'm not happy that I play on a long weekend but I'll deal with that. My question, which by the way still has not been answered, is whether or not ALL TEAMS play their make up games on the both the long weekends. If not, then I do have an issue with it. If everyone plays, I'll move in. Chill the *&%$ out otherwise.

| I'm with Jamie on this one - sure, it's not the end of the world to play on the Monday of a long weekend, but with almost a full three weeks of open schedule between most of our last games and the playoffs, I have a hard time believing a better time slot couldn't be found. Since it's a holiday and most of us assumed we wouldn't be playing, it's just unfortunate that we'll have to miss a game when it seems like there's a better, easier solution readily available.

| Good to hear that there are so many volunteers to be on the 'Schedule Committee' that will help the current guys who manage the complex design of doing and re-doing a schedule for 24 teams.
Guys, please remember that the current executive are all volunteers who give selflessly of their time to make our league so great. Included in that is the managing of rainouts. You can try and please most of the teams... but not everyone will be totally satisfied. Deal with it.

| Well its too bad all i want to do is play im on the spare list and it would be a good chance to get a few out so thay can get a few games but th last i seen any thing a bout a list was a mouth ago and still nothing well at least there's golf

| Read the thread. Nobody is critical of execs or anyone else. I am pretty sure Burton was on the exec. It's about bringing an issue to light or asking a question. Sadly, there's a bunch of nameless faceless trolls who have nothing better to do than be derogatory, regardless of the nature of the original post. If you're going to be critical and tell people to 'deal with it' you should attach your name.

| Isn't the entire point of this forum to raise any issues we may have and discuss them in a reasonable manner? I don't think either Jamie or I were being whiners at all. I talked to Gonzo at the diamond last night and he answered my questions and now it's a non-issue. Had I not posted anything here I probably never would've had that talk with him and would still be wondering why we needed to play on the holiday. Seems like the forum served its purpose perfectly. Let's take it down a notch.

| Correct me if I am mistaken. We have fifteen guys on the team and copious spares and reserves. So please enlighten me, why we can’t get adequate guys to play on a holiday Monday?

| Call me crazy, but I think it's a bit harder to get guys because it's a HOLIDAY and not just any Monday. Just my 2 cents.
Like Barnstormer and Nate have already mentioned, nobody was being critical of the exec. I spoke to Gonzo too and he explained the issue. That was the only intention of my question in the first place. Some guys have nothing better than to stir the pot. Some go so far as having more than one "alias". Gimme even responds to his other posts for crying out loud!
