| we average joes..lost a softball game on sunday because the ump reverted the score to the 6th inning which we were losing in the 6th, but they let us bat in the 7th and we rallied 9 runs 14-22 us and then they called the game when the home team was coming up for there final 7th inning at bat. The final 3rd out was a collision and brawl between the catcher and runner that ump called no fault . Ump sited time limit and drop dead rule and ended game...is that legal asa rules? or did my team just get shafted

| You got shafted and are totally right! Once an inning starts it shall be completed! Your team should get the win! The refs need our league rules so they can make the calls correct!

| In this instance neither team should take the win. It should go as a loss for both teams. It was poor sportsmanship on both parts and that is why the game was called.

| I did. When both teams continued to go after each other is when the ump declared the game. I was never a fan of the run to the line rule but I think it needs to be implemented. Keeps everyone safe and tempers from flaring up. I would like to see you guys start at the top if the 7th and play it out. If one team didn't want to then that team would take the loss.

| As coach of the joes I would be happy with letting them have there last at bat and then decide who won or lost. Its frustrating to lose a game while up by 9
