The catcher that was "taken out" this past sunday at Tualatin Community Park should be kicked outta the league! The gentlemen did nothing wrong as he reached to touch the plate, accidentally causing her to ever so gently fall on top of him.
For her to lay her hands and elbows on him and spout those vulgarities from her dirty un-lady like mouth, lowered her to a level of such shame, that I would not be able to show my face around the parks again.
The worst part of the day was that there were several innocent virgin eared children at the field that day, not to mention the hoards of children at the playground that witnessed this obscene act of violence and anger this woman put on display. I saw one little girl crying... CRYING! Another boy ran to his mommy and as he held tight to her leg, shaking in fear, tears rolling down his angle like cheeks... he spoke these simple words... Mommy...Why is she so angry? To which the mother said "I don't know child of mine... I don't know" I witnessed a single tear roll down the mothers face...
FOR SHAME CATCHER GIRL, FOR SHAME!

| also how can we lose a game while we are ahead and the home team has not bat yet. According to leauge rules found here a once a inning is started it must be finished how can we conclude a game without the home team batting? "

| As a guy who has played baseball and slow pitch for years I have to say that I was disturbed by not only the Hard slide at home but also the language. Totally uncalled for. I've played in leagues and tournaments where you could win money and never saw a catcher taken out, especially a female catcher. I have never been a huge Delta Park rule guy but maybe they have it right and there should be a run to the line rule. This league needs to evolve with the times.

| Nevermind, your reply shows me that you did not see what took place at home, she was not "taken out". He ran home, and supposedly did not touch the plate, turned to touch it, fell on his ass, and in the meantime took out the back of her legs, causing her buckle and come down on top of him... totally unintentional!

| I was actually standing behind the backstop and saw the whole thing along with four other people that saw the same thing. The ump even commented after and wondered why he went back to touch home plate because he was already safe. It was the rest of the team that thought he hadn't and told him he needed to touch the plate
