| In talking to Jeff Rosenthal (officer of the Pittsburgh Little League), he has a permit for MELLON FIELD that is located across from Bakery Square on Penn Ave. It's 5 minutes from Frick Fields.
He said if I gave him enough notice, he can give us use of that field on a Monday Night. We can even have the field at 8pm, and play under the lights until they go off at 11pm.
I know this might not work for everybody, BUT, it does give us an opprotunity to play a weekday make up for anybody that doesn't want to play 4 on a Sunday, or pile up games for the Aug 11th make up week. (for all we know, could rain out)
I've worked this arrangement out, as it was actually offered to me first, by Jeff, as we discussed the Little League tournament that is being played at Frick Fields this weekend and next. I addressed this topic in a separate post.
