| First off, I want to thank all 14 teams for their part in making this year another successful season. There was some interesting times with all the rain outs, but we worked together to get the games in. This year just goes to show why you don't want to wait until the make up week at year's end to play a rain out that happens in early in the schedule. You never know.
Thanks to the teams that were able to play on the "holiday" weekends of Memorial Day and July 4th breaks in the schedule. That helped make a difference. In total, there were 27 games (coz of 1 suspended game) that needed rescheduled due to rain for the most part. That's ton, especially when the whole schedule gets rained out the 2nd to last week of the reg. season.
Competition throughout the entire league has increased with more teams being able to beat each other. It makes the league more fun not only playing against them, but when trying to gain or make separation on teams w/in your division, there's not many "gimme" games.
Congratulations to Boomerang Bar this year's Playoff Champions. A good mix of guys and a competitive team that will be fun to play against for years to come.

Frank - Thanks for the assistance that you've given me throughout the season from getting the softballs preseason and postseason, and also getting the necessary insurance on time.
Joe / Pat - Thanks for getting the East McKeesport Field permit this year and the necessary work needed to get the field in shape and keeping it that way. Also, thanks for checking on and letting me know when the field was available for back to back doubleheaders for when make ups were necessary.
To all managers in submitting your scores, for the most part, on time allowing for the website to be current. (We do, however, need to make sure BOTH TEAMS can agree with the final score) I've mentioned before that 2 teams that play each other text me different scores?? This happened every singe week again. Scorekeepers can double check with the other teams book after each inning. It only makes sense to do that because then there's no descrepency on how many runs you're chasing.
I know this is a rather long post, but I truely do appreciate all the cooperation that I get and have gotten this year from everybody. I hope all teams enjoyed it again and for the 1st year teams, I especially hope you enjoyed it to return next season. If you came from a different league last year, I hope that I convinced you that this is a good league and one that I hold with high integrity.
Everybody have a safe offseason and I'll be in contact with all the teams after we enter the new year.
