| I know we all get on this forum to talk about the ins and outs of Paoli Football, and I also know that it is fun banter back and forth among fans, and those who often feel like they could call better plays, or run better formations, or whatever the case may be. However sometimes the x's and o's don't feel quite so important. Coach Balsmeyer has brought a brand of football and toughness to the program that has never before occurred, he demands of the boys the very best they can give, every single time! Paoli Football has become synonymous with success and winning, and we as a community have grasped onto that thought, and those ideals that have been brought. The challenges his family have faced over the last couple of years have been great, and yet they have approached it with the same head on attitude at which he directs the Paoli Football program. I would ask anyone who reads this, and is a fan of Paoli Football, or even just someone passing by to take a moment in whatever way that you do, for the entire Balsmeyer family as well as the Paoli Football family for the challenges that have already been conquered and the ones still ahead. Keep in mind that what happens on the field on Friday night is a game, a very strong teaching tool about life, but a game nonetheless, however when real life things take a front seat sometimes the game will take a back seat, if only briefly.
