| Darren Barber here and just want to say I'm very proud the SSFL is still up and strong! When Dan, Barry (St.Patricks FC) and myself started up the league or main mission was to provide competitive and secure matches on a weekly basis. We got sick of Korean teams and other friendly matches getting spotty on showing up, also our teams style of play was a bit too aggressive for others. Yeah, 4 teams to start but quickly grew to 8 the next season and 12 shortly after that. It was obvious we had a good thing going and a great social network besides! I'm so proud and didn't doubt that the SSFL would continue. The following leadership has more than picked up the mantle! Myself, I'm currently a SSG in the Army, artillery, 3 tours in Iraq and Afganistan.
