| Wasn't able to attend competition on Saturday. Did Waltham & Methuen have any teams competing against them? Were they the only 2 teams advancing? Also, will Waltham & Methuen have any teams competing against them at NE Regionals?

| I didn't see either Waltham or Methuen, but the OOA had Wilmington & Woburn also. Kind of surprised there were only four competing. Not sure about other conferences, they may be the only teams at Regionals.

| The most any team had in any division at EMASS was four, some had less. In this division was Reading, Methuen, Waltham and Woburn.

| I think because of the new format with Levels & sizes, the # of teams has decreased. Now there are only four team where in previous years there were as many as 12 competing. Competition not as difficult as in past.

| For Midget Small 3, I read in previous posts that Hocomock, NH and I believe Ocean State do not have a MS3 team. This possibly would mean that Waltham & Methuen would be the only 2 teams competing in MS3 @ Regionals. Could this be correct?

| The small level 3 division had 4 teams at EMASS. The maximum in any division at EMASS was 4, as teams were eliminated at league competitions earlier in the month. The top 4 in every division moved on to Eastern Mass. It is possible that there isn't any other small level 3 teams in New England. If that's the case, I would think that the 3rd and 4th place teams from Eastern Mass would be invited. Who really knows?

| That would be my thinking also as it would make the competition more interesting. Having only 2 teams competing against each other doesn't make for a very good competition, considering they would be advancing to Nationals anyways... Understandably, I could see this happening with Level 4 teams as they are higher skills. But I cannot recall this ever being the case with the lower levels in the past.

| Agree. Prior to last year, it was very difficult to advance from Lowell. The new system has made it easier. There are teams advancing to Regional Finals that clearly are not as skilled as cheer squads from the old set up, but that's the way it is.
