| If the top ten rankings are based on the way teams are playing and their record them they should be seriously adjusted.
The Belen wolverines have been plying rather good soccer which leads me to ask why they are ranked lower than South Dade. The one that i still can understand is why are their rivals the Columbus explorers ranked 6th. They have an exceptional record with tremendous talent on their team it makes sense how a team like ransom raiders are ranked higher while not being challenged by any team that poses a serious threat to them. Teams you should watch out for Wolverines and Explorers

| You have many valid points.....the top ten are based on two coaches opinions, since they are the only ones sending their opinions via email. Please don't forget that the rankings are an opinion and in no way factual or scientific. We just do it for fun and to recognize those programs which are having a very good season. Why is South Dade ranked higher than Columbus and Belen? Well, in our opinion their district is stronger than the others (Varela, Killian, Sunset, Ferguson and Coral Reef and even Palmetto) but as the season progresses things will level if you play top opponents and you are able to deliver. RE and Gulliver are both in weak district but they deliver at the end of the season and in the case of Gulliver they do advance to regionals and state playoffs most of the time. Belen beat Central, Terra and Homestead and tied Columbus during preseason, most likely Belen will end the season undefeated since they have a very weak schedule ahead of them. Remember that coaches can play outside of their district and by doing so, it will provide a better idea on their strength and weakness. Columbus has a very good squad and they have Reagan, Coral Reef and Ransom in their schedule, so they have a better chance of proving themselves and if they do, then Belen will go up too since they tied. Please tell coaches to vote for their top ten, the more opinions the better more accurate the ranking. Thanks for your input and we will be watching the Wolverines and Explorers more closely.

| Thank you for taking my opinions into consideration i would like to see maybe a shift in ranking to keep this top ten relevant and interesting for teams to try to move up into the top ten and for other teams who are not on it to try and fight for their spot. Lets see how this season unflods and what it has waiting for us.

| Let's not forget that this is high school soccer. Rankings mean nothing. What counts is win/loss record at the end of the season and how well you play in the district/regionals. All you have to do is remember what happened to Sunset and South Dade last year as examples.

| So ya saying Homestead and terra are not good? dont forget about that time when reef beat varela and eliminated them.
