| Following up with the conversation regarding the GMAC, I went and double checked the results of the games involving the following teams: Homestead, Terra, Miami Springs, Miami Central, and Westland of BOYS 4A District 16 which are the teams that can qualify for the GMAC. Cheryl said Miami Springs had a better record than Homestead playing the teams listed previously, but apparently that's not the case. Below you will find the scores and the standings for both Homestead and Miami Springs to prove no matter what we (Homestead)hold a better record than Miami Springs for the GMAC spot.
Home and Away Game Scores - Homestead 4-0-4 (16 pts.)
Homestead vs. Terra : Home (2-2) Away (0-0)
Homestead vs. Springs : Home (1-1) Away (3-0)
Homestead vs. Central : Home (4-0) Away (1-1)
Homestead vs. Westland : Home (7-1) Away (1-0)
Home and Away Game Scores - Miami Springs 4-2-2 (14 pts.)
Springs vs. Terra : Home (2-3) Away (2-2)
Springs vs. Homestead : Home (0-3) Away (1-1)
Springs vs. Central : Home (NR)Assuming a win (12/9/2013) Away (1-0)
Springs vs. Westland : Home (NR)Assuming a win (12/19/2013) Away (3-1)
I was told that Miami Springs had a record: 6-2
that qualifies them to the GMAC. Who did they beat?
The Bad and the Ugly is they do not even qualify for District Play-offs.
That's just not fair!

| Tell your coach and tell your athletic director. I tried to obtain the info. but no luck. Good luck Homestead....I really think that it was your spot unless the results that were posted on this website were wrong and they know something that we don't.

| That was not the case with Columbus. They finished 1st in their district but have to play at the field of runner ups in other districts (originally in Miami Springs, changed today to Homestead when the opponent was changed)

| It rotates every year. It is hard to remain constant since some teams change districts often. Just be glad that you are in it.
