 | How can we get new recruits, esp. for the women's league? More advertising? Posters around town? Announcements at the gym? (In-shape on Floyd/Oakdale is covered)

 | A long time ago, Mr. Colin Homer suggested placing an ad in the Modesto Bee on the Obits page. I suppose an ad on the Modbee on-line Obits would also do. His motto was "If you're name is not listed over there . . .then you should play Senior Softball over here

 | I am looking for a team to play on. I've played for 35 years before retiring 9 years ago. I would like to see if I can play again.. only thing is... although i've every position on the field.. I would only feel comfortable playing 1st base as this is the least physical position to play on the field in my opinion. I played this position for the last 5 years before I retired. So if someone would like to take a chance on a broken down player..lol.. send me an email. in the subject line please for SENIOR SOFTBALL..lol by the by .. i qualify for over 40 by not over 50..lol

 | Maybe if all current players wives, no matter their age, were allowed to play in the women's league. For example if the male player was 55 but his wife was 44 his wife could be "Grand Fathered" in.

 | Ladies, if you have not signed up for our email messages, I encourage you to do that now. Our Ladies league starts at age 40 and many of our men players have wives and girlfriends who play. We are looking at several ideas to get our organization out to the public. We have had a float in the Modesto 4th of July parade for the past two years, and we had a great turnout from our membership. But we could use more help from everyone in getting the word out about senior softball in this area. If you have good ideas like the posting of flyers at health and fitness, let us know!! We will always listen to our members .. Thanks for your input
