| I talked to Dale (Head of umpires) the day after our meeting and he made a suggestion of using 70' bases instead of the prior 65'.
He said that other adult men slowpitch leagues are going to 70'. Since infielders are playing deeper for safety reasons, because of the enhanced balls/bats, this extra distance will offset some of this.
I like this suggestion to move to 70' bases and I would like to impliment this change.
