| T am a former resident of Westfield. I used to play for the town's then ONLY baseball team called "The Westfield Hawks" ! This was era=1947-50. I'd be interested to know when they disbanded etc. They played each Sun.PM (?) at Tamaqua Park. I would really be interested in chatting with or hearing from any who knew or took part in that era! Some names I recall, but not too many... Al Pfeiffer, Bobby Doherty, Bill and Bob Sommers ... they would "come back" if someone could remind me! Cheers to the current team, should there be one!
