| Class 2008 - Albert Voss and Ted Dwyer - Builders (Maccan)
Voss and Dwyer were key players in forming the NSIBL after sharing frustrations with others over the poor organization of the former metro league. Under their leadership, the Royals placed second in both 2000 and 2001, and had impressive 19-9 and 22-6 campaigns. In their seven years, the Royals went 93-67, while behind the scenes both men were anchors within the NSIBL's management. The friendly confines of Royals' stadium was always in "ship shape" due to the tireless efforts of Voss and Dwyer, while their teams were always classy and highly talented.
Class 2008 - Alan Dwyer - Player (Maccan)
Dwyer was a large man on the field - both physically and figuratively speaking. A great hitter, Dwyer was one of the many threats from the potent Royals' lineups of the early 2000s. A talented first baseman, Dwyer was a clutch hitter who hit .394 in 2000 and .442 in 2001. Dwyer was also one of the classiest players to ever suit up in the NSIBL, with a big smile, great love of the game and a strong competitor who never liked to lose. A quiet leader on the field, Dwyer was always one of the hardest outs in NSIBL history.
Class 2008 - Bruce Ward - Player (Hantsport)
Ward was a key part of the many Shamrock titles in the NSIBL. A great batter at the plate, Ward hit .472 in 2000, .453 in 2001 and .439 in 2004. What Ward was best known for, however, was his base-stealing prowess. In 2000 he swiped 19, in 2001 19, in 2002 14 and in 2004 18. Many Shamrock opponents during the early years credit Ward as a major reason for Hantsport's successes, while his teammates will all agree that he was a great talent and an even greater joker and "team player".
