Entry #: 4121632
HOMERUN RULE:

- It's the 3 & 1-up rule. Pertains only to HRs that go over the fence. If a team hit's 3 HRs, that team cannot hit a 4th, until the other team either hits their 3, or goes "1-up" and hits their 4th. Any HR over a fence for a team that has reached their limit, will result as AN OUT!

BASES DISTANCE:

- New this year, is the bases will now be 70' unless some field condition prevents it.

COURTESY RUNNER RULE:

- Same rule as prior years. Anybody that receives a "courtesy runner" is ONLY allowed to get a singe for each at-bat after he get ran for. PEEL TOWARDS FOUL LINE AFTER CROSSING 1st BASE. ANY TURN TOWARDS 2nd BASE CAN AND WILL RESULT IN AN OUT. This is to avoid injuries and any play on that batter effecting any existing runners at that time. ALL OTHER RUNNERS ON BASE CAN ADVANCE AS MANY BASES AS POSSIBLE.

Once the current game ends, that batter who was courtesy ran for, starts over the next game and is not restricted to singles, until he would be ran for again.

MERCY RULE:

- 20 Runs after 3 innings
- 15 Runs after 4 innings
- 10 Runs after 5 innings (home team does bat)

These seem to be the most league rules in question through out the year because someone forgets what it is. I would suggest printing this out and keeping with you at games, in case any of these rules come into question.
